I heard that buying traffic from established fan pages with a large number of fans works out a lot more cheaper than using Facebook ads.

I'm looking at buying status updates either by paying a flat rate per linkshare or on a per CPM - traffic basis. Any ideas where to buy such traffic from? Is there any website which connects buyers and sellers?

This may have worked well a few years ago but now with the changes Facebook have made only a fraction of page fans will see a post in their newsfeeds. Facebook have done this to push people towards paying for ads.

It would not going to work as Facebook tweeking the things to make more money out of it. They want every page to be advertise no matter it has so many likes. They are downgrading the links and giving more preference to image post so in your case if you promote links it would not be seen by many users and image post would be not much useful to you as chances of getting click is less.

I agree with the fact that after all the recent tweaks in FB's algorithm, the reach has decreased significantly. However, when advertising in large fan pages with a million or more fans, you still can get a decent amount of traffic even if the reach is only, say, 5%.

Now a days this method is not working at all. If you buy traffic from fen pages, only a few fans will see your updates. Facebook has done so for forcing people for buying Ads.

yes yes all of you correct face book want to eat money of people via ads
mark downs reach day by day
so this idea will not work for you
but if you have any website with direct sales i think you can get some leads with this method

Its my personal opinion that we don't have to buy Facebook because it is very easy to make price from facebook page.Regular updates, regular posting, Likes, Comments this is enough to made pricing .

You can use FaceBook power editor to specify who to show the ads to with Facebook IDs.
You can get the IDs with social lead freak.

It allows you to search into groups and profiles to extract all the IDs

I use it to lower by CPC and mostly it goes right down to 0.01

You don't need to buy likes- just use "add me fast". It's a great platform of exchanging Likes, Shares, YouTube videos ect.

you can buy likes for start to look big and familiar, but you also need real likes, to get to targeted and relevant people...

It may be worth it. People repeatedly pay me to post on one of my pages so it must be worth it for them.

Check out older posts to see what gets the most engagement and post something similar driving traffic to your site.

If one post works well, offer to buy in bulk for a discount... I do this as a seller.

As others have mentioned, having fake or paid traffic will give you numbers. The more likes a page has, the more trustworthy it seems to real consumers. So, in that regards, it may be helpful. However, it won't result in any sales or engagement. You gotta do the work and the time to get what you're really after.

This strategy is worthless, especially now, when algorithms have changed. My thought on the subject is that I doubt there are many more 'easy' strategies left out there. We're getting to a point where it's easier, cheaper and quicker to do things in a white hat.
