Help with Auto Publishing WP to Google+ needed

I have set my WP blog to publish all new posts automatically to Google+. It works.
BUT the posts on Google+ are only shared private. That is not what I want. I want public. But I can neither find how to make a public default setting nor at least how to change the post from private to public. So for now I have to delete the private posts on Google+ and then create public posts manually.
Is there any solution?
Please help if you can.

    I went and found this video for you. . . Maybe you should try this plugin to get your posts to show up automatically on Google.
