    Followup tips on letter "a" - You can use followerwonk to search for twitter user in your industry.

    For letter "c" - I think sharing someones article and mentioning them.

    I choose (b) and (c), but you also get enough followers to get out of Twitter radar.

    What David Tile said. In my niche alone the most responsive b2b Tweets where when I not only posted but I actually engaged in other businesses' post, photos, videos, blogs, etc. That then lead others to follow me and it builds 'organically' from there. Post and engage is key.

    It is not gonna work. Hashtag, everyone use it, who reads it?
    If you follow people, they don't even know you, I think you are trying to use them.
    I really think this is a good tool for advertisement until I find out it is wasting time because people use it for advertisement. They have tool to spam their stuffs on social media.

    I think you really need to know why people are using Twitter.

    For example, I like Facebook - sorry if it is off topic.

    Facebook is for socializing, people want to hear stories and look at funny pictures.

    So, share stories will gain more things on Facebook and make sale or connection.

    I don't know why people are using Twitter, so

    Research the original purpose first.

    The first option is the best. Its the only single way i know and use to get targeted rel human followers. I used it to build my handle from scratch to 78,000+ in my country.
