Commenting with real name or site title

Hi friends,
We always comment on social sites and elsewhere. My straight question is, if we have an option of using a real name or the title of our site, which one should we go for in terms of SEO?
Should we use the name of our website or our real name in the "name" box when commenting?
Please help me
PS.We do such commenting on articles at the end on sites as well. So, that would be helpful to me in that sense too. Thanks

I would just use my name the reason being that most site admins will delete comments from people who drop keywords in the name field. I don't think Google likes it much either. You could always try it like this "name @ website name" but even that will get your comment deleted on most sites.

      Thanks UnkwnUsr,
Actually I was doing a SEO check and found that the anchor text was my name itself. So, I thought I was treading the wrong path. But I hope, I aren't.
      Thanks once again.

      Yes, OnSecretHunt and Charli
I do use my name and also have a gravatar image of myself. So, that looks good in a sense.

I tend to use my website name. 7/10 times I get approved. Could be that a good reply > a normal name.

Oh I have never done that before. And by the way, my comments haven't got rejected or disapproved so far, so I think I will continue that way.

Use your website name because its your brand -- the name your parents gave you may not have a meaning to the larger world. Unless your name is also your brand, ala Guy Fieri or Rachel Ray.

Go with your exact name, and not site url.. If you are going to post your site URL, the admin will delete your comment sooner or later for spamming.

And use your real name, not names like Peter Parker or Mary Jane

Commenting on others blog blog which is relatively your niche is very good for your site and you. As far as I know people use three things to comment "Real Name","Keywords" and "Site Name". I think it is more better to leave comment with a real name and set your real picture in gravatar. Though this site owner identify you as a your social image and other thing is you get also spread about your views on internet.

Just be careful, abhibangal whenever you choose to use your real name/company's name. Always remember the rule: Think before you post as you carry the reputation of your site. If you have said something good on social sites it would reflect on the "footprints" you leave behind.

Remove the ".com" It is the Brand Name of the Site you are promoting, not the URL. Most comment boxes are no-follow anyway. What's important is what you said in your comment. They'll make other commenters interested in what more you have to say and that would make you click to your sig to find out more.

    Hi
Commenting on Keyword or Website name is one of the black hat technique, But almost every one uses for branding. These also helps in bringing Keywords ranking.

I always comment with my own name and throw my website in the website input field if it's available, It has not negatively affected my website as far as I can tell, and I am ranking #1 for my name if you Google it ( helge sverre), that might be coincidence since my name and website url, heading and author stuff is all my name though..
