Starting my own t-shirt and button pin products and I need some tips please
Hello, I'm an aspiring graphic designer and hoping to get into the business of t-shirts and button pins. Hopefully the income I get here would help in funding my college years later on and stabilizing my income while I live on my own. So I have a couple of questions:
1. What's the best site I can use to put in my products? I was thinking on getting a site that has a direct connection to facebook or tumblr that way it would be easy to market them.
2. What's the best social network site for this kind of business? Tumblr? Pinterest? Facebook? I currently am most familiar with Tumblr and I see a lot of young entrepreneurs building their sites there but is Pinterest even better? And are fan pages on Facebook just as powerful to rake in traffic?
3. How do I gain reputation and credibility faster? I know it takes a while but how should I start engaging with possible customers in order to appeal to them?
4. I know that it takes time and ads don't rake in traffic or get me customers in a day but how long should I spend on this? How much time should I contribute to this for this to stabilize?
5. This business isn't big and it's still in planning but do I have to start planning for FB ads as well? How effective are they? Any tips?
