Facebook Name Problems

Hello,

I've been using my middle name and last name on my Facebook account rather than my first name and last name. Since my first name + last name combination is rather unique, going by my middle name on my Facebook account provides me with some level of anonymity, which I like.

I recently got a request from Facebook saying that it looked like I was not using my real name. I'm not sure where this flag came from, but I sent them my drivers license with everything blacked out except my name and birth date. They didn't seem to notice or flag the fact that the first name on my drivers license is not the one I indicated to Facebook was my first name.

Although my Facebook account has been reinstated, my ad manager account has not been. They want me to submit my drivers license again, but I'm worried that since my Facebook name will not jive with the credit card name they will catch me this time.

So, I'm wondering how to proceed...

Should I try to submit my drivers license again to Facebook to get my ad account reinstated? Has anyone out there given their middle name as the first name on their Facebook account.

Maybe I should just cancel this Facebook account and set up a new one with my real first name instead of my middle name on it.

I'm interested in hearing if anyone has been permanently banned from Facebook for doing something like this or am I over reacting?
