Best type of FB page for a new information lifestyle (and product) page?

Hi Warriors,

My name is Felipe and I am new to the forum. I have a question for you regarding creating a Facebook page. I am looking at creating a new Facebook fan page for a new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lifestyle/Information site that I would like to create. I am in the process of creating a couple of products such as a book, instructional videos etc and was wondering what is the best way to go about setting it up? Is there any advantages or disadvantages to setting it up as a "Brand/Product", "Public Figure", "Entertainment" or "Community" page?

Although there will eventually be a few products available of the page, I plan to use the page to provide free useful content and motivational material not just push my product!

Also I checked out some another thread about buying likes for a new Facebook page to kind of gain credibility to begin with and kind of left the thread still a little confused!!! :-( Is it worth buying them for the type of page I am starting just to begin with? I have no doubt that I will build a solid following of targeted customers reasonably quickly but I thought maybe the head start might not hurt? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am still a newbie to social media marketing!
