Setting up a Facebook account for a humor site?

First off I want to say that I know nothing about Facebook. I want to use Facebook to promote my humor site. When I try to register using the email address for my domain... It won't let me. I want to set up a Facebook page just for my site. How do I do this?

It needs to be tied to a personal account. Link it to your own FB page.

Is the email in question already used?

As mentioned, first create a personal account and then go to

    https://www.facebook.com/pages/create/

    to create your page.

Make sure to add your humor domain address in the description.

    https://www.facebook.com/CrowtoonStudios

is an example of a great cartoon/humor page that ties directly to its original site.

    Hope that helps!

It is okay if the Facebook page owner is the same as the owner of the site? I don't want it to seem like a fake "fan site". I wouldn't want to break the rules and have them remove my page.

Is it worthwhile having a page like this for your site? Can it help bring in traffic?

My boss owns his FBook fan page and I manage it. So yes, you can set up your own FB fan page on whatever subject you want it to be and run it yourself.

    Make sense?
