Pay facebook to get 50% newsfeed reach?

Hello warriors

I listened on the radio saying that in order to get at least 50% newsfeed reach to page fans, we need to pay facebook certain amount. Is this true?

I have been trying to search google for the information but cant find it. Anybody aware about this?

      Are you sure of that? the IT Expert on the radio said, fanpage now get only several percent reach to the fans through newsfeed. In order to get 50% newsfeed reach, we can pay facebook certain amount. To get another 50% newsfeed reach, we need to get the facebook page verified.

    Thats not true.

    You need to target your ads and Facebook does the job to promote to the most relevant people.
    They are trying to give you the highest CTR in order for them to make the most money out of you.
