Recently, i have been using Traffup for free facebook likes on my blog's FB page. I am getting good amount of likes through it, but i wanted to make sure if it is a safe way to do so.

Is there any harm in getting likes using sites like Traffup?

It's like buying likes.. the fake accounts will be blocked from Facebook and your likes will decrease.. but Facebook won't ban you, because someone really liked it - fake or not.

You probably will not be attracting people who will actually engage in your site. They will be a number and that is all. However, a higher number does create more trust with real users, so it may have a positive affect in that sense. But as far as actually helping your business, it won't do anything.

It's not harmful but if you want active likes which will engage and promote your content then it's better to skip this thing.

There's no point to get likes from people who have no interest to page content.

If your facebook page is new, you can use free likes or buy likes just to gain peoples trust on your page.

If you just want to increase the number of likes for your fb page to look good without worrying if the people that are liking your page will become engaged fans, just invest $5-$10 in a fb ad targetting 3rd world countries - you'll get thousands of likes for a few bucks - legally!
    Good luck

If your page is new you can use it so that you can show real people that you have some likes and it will gain more trust generally people don't like a page which has like 100 like but they do like a page which has like 1000 likes so for gaining trust you can do that.

I think it is waste of time to do like this because facebook will easily find out the difference between the real likes and buying of likes. So, it will be very nice if you stop this kind of work and getting likes from the real persons as that will be only valuable.

You may get a temporary boost in your likes, but the same people who liked your page in exchange for a like can just as easily take that like away. And, this is true, even if Facebook doesn't disallow the likes obtained from like exchange sites.

Fake likes will lead to fake visitor, so how will you define/ evaluate your success?

I can suggest you to make authentic likes for the better. Create posts that attracts real people's interests and surely you'll gain likes. Besides, Facebook deletes fake accounts. If this happen, your like will automatically decrease. So why waste time to have fake likes, if you can gain more authentic one?

    Hope this help.
