Pinterest drop down menu notifications issue! Please help!

Hello, guys!
I am an old user of Pinterest, and I am on some group boards.
So I rented out a server and created a new account on Pinterest on this server.
What I did later is I sent the invitations to the group boards where I am a member to this new account.
The interesting thing is that I got invitation notifications by email, but I dont see them at my Pinterest Drop down icon on the right of the screen.
I did log out and log in again, did it few times. No notifications come in.
I tried clicking on accept invite in emails I got, but it only redirects me to the main page of Pinterest and doesnt accept the invite.
I tried waiting, I even submitted a ticket to pinterest support, still didnt get any answer in 2 days.
I dont understand how can I accept the invitation if I dont see a notification about it.
I have all the possible notifications turned ON by default.
I never changed anything there.
I still get the notifications by email but not in the Pinterest home feed.
I just dont get it.
I have no chance to accept the invites.
Do you know how to get the notifications to actually show, so I could accept the invites? Any other ways to accept the invites?
