Separate accounts from personal when promoting?

Lots of people have been telling me to make a pinterest for my pet store and I was going to sign up on my app from my phone but should I make a personal pinterest and promote all of my businesses through it? Or do I need to make a separate pinterest account per business? Say for my pet store, and one for my clothing line?

Thanks!

With Pinterest it's all about pins and boards. If you're planning to use one account for two businesses, I suppose you'll want to share your boards as well.

Now imagine you're a regular web surfer and you bump into a topic of interest for you like... pet stores. Would you find that account to represent a truly professional store if its official page would share posts on clothing as well? Unless it's pets' clothing, which I believe it is not, you wouldn't find it very trustworthy, would you?

I suppose my answer is obvious - I wouldn't use the same Pinterest account to promote two different businesses.

A general pinterest account is what you need with different boards under the same account. Easy to manage and add pins

So I can have a pinterest for my personal use? Promote my pet store and my sports blogs under the same account?

Or should I just make separate accounts per business?

How do you get traffic from Pinterest? Upload photos, pin them, its so confusing!

In my opinion its enough to open one account ( thats what I do ) and create different boards. Name one board - Pet Store ( or whatever you think people would be more compelled to check out ) and the other one clothing line. Next find people with similar interests and follow their boards and engage. Same as you would do on Facebook or Google +.

You don't have to upload, you can just pin them, thats what is so great about pinterest. its so easy to use and doesn't take a lot of time to pin and create boards.

Pin regularly and like other peoples boards and the traffic will follow. Use common sense as with anything.

So how many photos do I pin of my own a day? And how do people find your photos? Hashtags?

And where should I place my sites url? In all the pictures or my bio?
