Facebook Marketing Worth It for a company?

Hi guys,

Do you think facebook paid advertising is worth it for a manufacturing company?

Since I am only targeting companies that buy die castings my target audience is pretty small and focused on buyers, directors ect..

    Linkedin may be more appropriate.

But if you can find the audience in FB, you may want to focus on building a list of that audience and not just sending them to your page. Give away some piece of information on the company, and case study of why your quality surpasses everyone elses quality or something.

That way you've got that lead. I wouldn't just do email either, in your case I would ask for Name, Title, Address, Phone, etc

That way you can call them, mail them information, etc.

    Just my initial thoughts!

hmmm. I would say that since everyone is on FB - you may be able to capture people on that platform.
Your best bet is to spend 20-50$ and give it a bit of a test =) maybe 10$ a day for 5 days? see what clicks and interest you are getting. If they (the buyers) are wasting office hours on Facebook like everyone else, you can definitely get to them! LOL =)

Also, find a few people who you know fit within your audience. Look at their pages and see what their likes are. There may be some professional organization around your topic, like "Di-cast Manufactures of America" (For an example)

Then you can target this group specifically and possibly find other ones like this

Yes I would suggest you give it ago. Everyone is on Facebook, maybe a client will see you on Facebook and will be more likely to hire your company just because they see you on social media

Yes you have a big market if you just categorize correctly your advertising... You'll never know the outcome unless you've tried it.

You can use Facebook Power Editor.Power Editor is our bulk ads creation and management tool, tailored specifically for large advertisers. Power Editor is our best tool for advertisers who work at scale and need precise control of their campaigns.

Facebook now gives brands the ability to target Facebook ads to their current customers based on email, phone or Facebook user ID list. The new feature is called Custom Audiences in Power Editor. You can use a Facebook ID Scraper software to export UID's from other pages or groups.
