Got any Google+ tips you'd be willing to divulge?

It maybe the bottle of wine I had after dinner but it just dawned on me that I'm spinning my wheels and spending too much trying to get engagement back on my FB page and I think the real hot mover is Google+. If for no other reason then they aren't making you pay to play.

Sooooo, I'm ready to focus my efforts there!

Do you have any tips for growing my subscribers, getting more engagement and really connecting with folks in a REAL genuine (human) way?

I don't want hype or theory, I'm looking for implementable strategies, best times to post, best types of content to post, ways to introduce myself to new people, etc from those of you that are already dominating it on the platform.

Any help would be VERY MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance fellow warriors...

Using Google Trends in addition to google+ should help you a little bit for some free traffic.

If there's something going on in the news or anything related to your niche, then you can easily write up a post about it quickly and hop in on the traffic while it's fresh. If you really wanted to blitz it, you could break it up into 3 to 4 short posts with the same hashtag and leverage that traffic even more.

    hope that helps!

It does, thanks a ton for the Google Trends tips. Do you typically ask questions, make statements? Another words any tips on the type of copy in my posts?

And I just realized I should have posted this in the social media section. Oops

Depending on your niche, you could ask for help or feedback on a specific situation you are facing. Not a noob question, but something really perplexing that will draw out the brightest minds in your industry. These type of puzzlers always bring the best talent forward and you will get plenty of feedback from others. As to whether this technique will work just depends on what your niche is or what your site is about that you are trying to direct traffic towards.

Google plus is going to be big once everyone starts to realize the pluses (pardon the pun) to the other social media sites. For example: Not getting constantly asked to play a game, no limit as to how many characters you can type, no ads (yet anyway) and conversions that matter. Google Authorship and Google Hangouts are two ways to improve your brand. Hope this helps.
