More than 25 likes on fanpage but all vanity url I am trying are 'not available'

Hi all,

I have a fanpage with more than 25 fans but while trying to the directions at this link , despite of having an username I the fanpage name displayed in the box, when I try ANY url (even like www.facebook.com/gdjksdhhsadhls ) I receive the message that this link is not available.

    Likely it may mean someone else has taken that URL or username. Did you try to enter your desired url into a browser to check if the fanpage is already established and taken?

    If so you may wish to try for an alternative or the next best vanity url for your fanpage.

    Try checking it with a different browser. I was having the same problem recently and was able to get it to work by switching over to Google Chrome. I've found the URL doesn't seem to matter much anyway. There aren't a whole lot of people who type the URL into their browser when they're looking for a Facebook page.
