There are lots of ways to make money with Youtube, you can try building a good channel with original content and then apply for a partnership and earn with adsense ads, or you can use CPA offers and make videos relative to them, putting the offer in a shortened link on your video description or inside the video in an youtube annotation. There are many other ways that would take someone days to describe. Also nobody is going to describe a way that takes you step by step on the whole process of making money with Youtube, just search a lot and you will find things out by yourself.

Yes, you start with your own channel. You can have several YouTube channels for different niches.
Start with evergreen niches like:
Alternative energy,
Weight Loss,
Making money (Internet Marketing) or
How to look good.
Then you go to clickbank.com to pick a product with a high gravity
And on youtube you make 2 minute promo videos about the product.
You can use the Screen capture software of Camtasia for this to record a PowerPoint presentation
or you record a screen capture how you review the sales page.
With the Google keyword planner you can add relevant keywords as tags under your video to rank your videos higher in Google.

The best way to make money from YouTube is to do what they want you to do: Make Engaging Content.

People on YouTube are generally looking for entertainment or FREE information. Getting them to click through and buy products is hard to do.

Put up list-style videos using pictures and a voiceover. Not hard. You can use websites like Ranker.com or Cracked to get ideas. Then run ADS! Don't sell anything. It's pretty damn easy to get someone to watch a video for free compared to getting them to pull out their wallet and buy something.

Here's an example of the kind of videos that are easy to create and get a ton of views on YouTube:
7 Most Disturbing Children's Toys on Amazon Right Now
8 Diseases That Nearly Wiped Out Humanity
6 Presidents Who Were Actually Hot

These are just off the top of my head, but they'd get a lot of clicks on YouTube. And you're going to get at least $3 per thousand views. So, if you can get 100,000 views, which isn't hard and certainly isn't viral, you can make at least $300 per video. But it normally ends up being a lot more than that.

You can try to do a bunch of workarounds to get your affiliate links in there without violating TOS (this is a very gray area) or you can just do what YouTube was designed for. Then run some ads on it.

Just make sure to:

Create custom thumbnails that stand out or elicit curiosity
Make headlines that elicit curiosity and are in list form
Get ads running on those videos from the beginning! (Just check "monetize" when you upload your video)
Use as many tags as you're allowed (but make sure they're relevant)
Link to your other videos in the description (this helps them show up in the "related videos" section of your videos)

It's surprisingly easy money.

You can review affiliate products and get paid commissions by the company when you make a sale. Just get something cool that you can show off, make a video about it and make sure you have your affiliate link (cloaked) and under the video so that people who want to buy it can click on your link and you get the credit for the sale.

There are many ways. Create a channel around products if you desire. Create videos around those products. Use annotations to link to other places that have that product monetized.

Connect your YouTube channel to your Adwords account and get Adsense revenue. Put your videos on Traffic Exchange sites to get more likes, share and comments.

Write a good description and provide link to your product. Use annotations to link to other videos that you create. Also put a link in the description with your other video titles and video URL to give outbound links within YouTube.

If by PTC, you are talking about paid to click, then no. Youtube and PTC have nothing to do with each other.

To earn money off Youtube, you need to be approved as a partner on Youtube. This usually happens after you have published enough quality content. At that time, they will offer you the option to enable ads to earn revenue.

You'll want to be sure that you have plenty of legitimate subscribers and likes on your videos. In this way, you can ensure that you will get plenty of video views which should result in ad clicks and revenue.

Hi ajivets,

I like to use Youtube in our business as another big traffic generator for our site (which has the offers on it).

Video is THE most engaging form of media - behind speaking to somebody in person - and it is great to use Youtube for video blogs, and then post them to your blog, as each view on your blog counts as a view on Youtube too. You can then create quite a following.

Youtube is also great for affiliate marketing, but seeing as we create a lot of our products, I like to use it more as a great traffic source.

If you monetize with Youtube ads, set out to get a truckload of views because that's what it takes to earn any meaningful revenue.

I monetize my videos with YouTube ads and it's only a small amount each day with hundreds of daily views. I include annotated links to my site which is where I earn more.

That said, revenue is revenue and every additional source adds up.

You could always build up your subscriber base with good content and then sell your Youtube account. I'm not saying it's the correct thing to do and the account might get banned but it is one option. That is, if you don't want to use Youtube for Clickbank reviews or Adsense.

You make money on YouTube when you make your own content of videos, If you would like to add content you must credit them. Make creative videos for views. You must have lots of views on your videos, Some subscribers and likes can be counted as one too. When you have like more than 500 subscribers or 50,000 uploaded views, you can be accepted as a YouTube partner (that's when they pay you to make YouTube videos depending on how many views you have and stuff). If you didn't violate any laws or copyrights, you can be accepted! Cheers!

Build a channel! Just like they say "The money is in the list", well, thats exactly what Youtube is. A list of subscribers that you can broadcast a message out to. Content is king, so make sure that you create unique and creative content. Best of luck!

Learn about affiliate products before they are launched at jvnotifypro Join the affiliate program. Make a video with the product name in the title and in the body text. Release your video about a week before the product is released. Your video will rank on page one for about half of the courses that you have targeted. Also add the course name in the keyword tags

Don’t show people the actual paid content as you may get into trouble for giving away content for free. Sure, show people the cover of the ebook or the download area. Even show people the welcome page of a members’ area or the intro of an ebook but no more.

Always put your affiliate link in the description box when you upload your video to YouTube, and tell people it’s there when you’re recording your video!

Yeah, some tutorials do great on YouTube. Just make sure it's in a niche with videos that have plenty of views. You can also check Google Trends and choose "YouTube Searches" from the dropdown bar and check if your keywords are being searched for often and recently.

check content curation sites
like mashable buzzfeed etc and see whats trending and hot
then make a slideshow video or something like that and give it a provocative such that its relevant headline

and yes do all the optimization linking etc

comment at popular videos
comment on videos who get lots of views but the comments are made after a day or two

this way you will get traffic

Like everything else, it comes down to the quality of your content. There are several methods you can use, including placing advertisements on your content through the YouTube platform. But if you don't have content that people find useful, you won't make money.

The one thing you want to note is that Clickbank products do not work well with Youtube.

I know there are many that do well with it but I personally think you'd be better off with Youtube + CPA.

Go to creative common videos for hot keywords and re upload them with cpa offers.
