Facebook can do this for a number of reasons. If you're spamming a lot of links to your site, it can happen. If it's for a site you own, you can contact Facebook directly and ask them to remove the site from their spam list. If it's for an affiliate site that's being spammed by a bunch of affiliates, there may not be much you can do about it.

Just use McAfee?Antivirus, Encryption, Firewall, Email Security, Web Security, Risk & Compliance to short your links. This should work. Or if not simply redirect it from another domain.

I go with miklanderson if you feel that link is important then please contact with the administrators of facebook and ask them to remove the site from the spam list or else it is not that much important link means then please remove the link to keep your account safe and also to avoid the banning of account.

It's possible someone else on Facebook is spamming links to the same site. This happens when many affiliates are promoting the same site on Facebook and someone gets over zealous in their promotion efforts. You could shorten the link or redirect to a third party site that offers information on the site you want people to click to.

Yes! Other warriors are right in saying to check the domain name which you are posting in the FB post or profile, Is it not banned already by FB in the past...If that is the case, they will certainly would not like to have the banned domain again in any of the posts made by anyone......And As someone said it already...If it is your site then ask FB to get it clear from their ban list by giving proper explanation...

Maybe the link's really not safe. Just remove it. After all Facebook's just trying to secure our computers from potential harm.

I would check the link using Web Of Trust. Download this as an extension to your Chrome browser.

If it is getting a yellow, you could have problems. If it is getting a red score, FB will almost always disallow. Always check your links this way and don't let FB associate you with any WOT "red" site.
