Best way to monetize tumblr traffic

I'm having 55K followers in my NSFW tumblr blogs and 85K followers in SFW tumblr blogs. Currently I monetize them with plugrush but only making $6-$7/day with them as adult ads pay pennies for clicks.

Are there any better ways to monetize this traffic especially non adult traffic? Please share your experience here.

    Have you thought about becoming an affiliate for a online adult shop? I know there are many shops that are using literotica website to sell their products, maybe you can contact some of them and show them your traffic stats.
