My Fanpage got stolen.. what to do?

Hey guys,

I tried to sell my fanpage, unfortunately I got scammed and my baby fanpage was stolen.

I was being such an idiot..

Anyway do you think there's any way I can get my page back?

If anyone's had that experience please help

    The only people who can give you your page back are working at Facebook, but considering you were violating Facebook's Terms of Service by selling your page, they may not be all that willing to help you out. I've heard of a lot of people who have got their pages stolen, but have never heard of anyone getting one back.

    I suppose you could sue, but I'm not sure you would want to bring such a matter to Facebook's attention, especially if you plan to continue using Facebook.

    I'm thinking out loud, but if the thief is sending traffic to a website, you could contact the host of the website explaining the traffic is from a stolen source. However, if you do this, the host may get Facebook involved which is probably something you want to avoid.

    How did this happen?

    Did you hand it over without money in escrow?

    Forget about it. It's not gonna be given back and Facebook does not help in this matter.

    Report that you're account was hacked. That's the only possible way to get it back. But chances are that you will not.

    Contact facebook, tell them your account was hacked, you can easily get it back
