Twitter - Direct tweet/reply plus hashtags?
Hi all,
I've literally started my twitter account for my upcoming blog today. I've followed a few blogs in my industry, and i have a list of people who have retweeted their content plus I aim to reply to tweets that are related to the personal growth industry.
My question, for the people who follow the blogs in my industry, ie. my potential visitors, is it 'rude' to follow them immediately? What I was thinking was replying in a conversational but informative way. Is it acceptable to add a hashtag to my reply?
Example: I agree that people we date help us grow. #personalgrowth
Also, what would you recommend for a brand new twitter account? I don't have a blog up yet but have some quotes and little thoughts to tweet. Should I post a few tweets today so that people who view my account will see something?
