Same way you get traffic from any social network - post interesting links, announcements, participate in some discussions, reply and retweet other peoples tweets, etc.

Make sure to post a lot of quality content related to your website niche, so you can build an autorithy account.

I am also learning about this every day. The important thing is that your focus is on getting users from Twitter to your site - which is a better focus than just trying to get followers.

These are some of the simple things I would do that are free and not too complicated:

1. Ensure you have an interesting bio for your Twitter page, including what you are about and the link to your website. Try put in a call to action that has some urgency i.e. "We're launching soon! Sign up today for the Beta launch!" so people are encouraged to click your website link.
2. Look up people that do similar things to you, like competitors. See who they follow and follow similar people.
3. Similar to 2. find out who follows your competitors and what kind of target you're looking for. Engage some of these people, especially if they are power users. Answer some of their questions, favourite their tweets etc.
4. Share things your followers will find fascinating.
5. Use shortened URLs to assess the success of your shares - especially if they are articles. I personally use Bitly for free URL shortening and analytics.
6. Post your tweets with relevant hashtags. You can use a site like Hashtagify.me to find hashtags that often accompany other hashtags. i.e. the hashtag #StartUps, is closely / often used alongside #Entrepreneurs
7. Possibly come up with a content marketing strategy so that you don't waste too much time. i.e. Think of certain days where you will share certain relevant things and you can do this across other social media networks.. e.g. Friday Funny - share something relevant to your customers and products that is funny. Each day of the week might have a focus.. like Throwback Thursday, Travel Tuesday.. you can make these up.
8. Possibly look into a tool that can schedule your posts.. So you can do all your 7.'s in 1 hour of work.
9. Remember that with 7 and 8, social media is about engagement and your users will want you to be there to engage and be 'social', so make sure you're replying and engaging, as well as sharing time critical and relevant information.

In order to multiply your succes in marketing, try to promote your site with multiple SN's at the same time. But watch your content quality to reduce chances of triple fail.

There are lots of way through which you can get traffic.Try google and if you need my help ask for it ill definately help you out....

Build engagement. Go to your Twitter Analytics page and see what type of tweets your audience interacts with. Then send out more of that. You have to build trust before you will get link clicks. It's a lot of work but it's worth it.

Some of the above suggestion have been helpful to me as well. But I don't understand how some people make lots of money with twitter.
