Don't go back...go forward.
#1- See the forum as a new person sees it. Start with the main forum, what is the first thing seen? 5 stickies...the most recent with a date showing which is two years old, and the fifth one with a date now 7 years old, UPDATE and eliminate...the all in one can have a sticky, all that stuff about member moderators can go.
#2- Through the eyes of a new person---total chaos and confusion, NO organization, NO starting point.
#3- Eliminate most of the sub-forums. What is this forum about? Why an anything goes forum at an Internet Marketing site? The AG forum has become a refuge for some of the best minds on WF, but to find their gold nuggets, you have to wade through all the weird.
#4- With all your talent and what is available, a guide, a manual or a step by step How to use the forum will help, at the very least a "dictionary" of terms.
#5- IF this is to become THE place for content creators and content consumers, then wouldn't that be a top priority? It lacks focus, a voice, and has become a magnet for blackhat fly by slicksters, and the content, especially in WSO section reeks like a garbage dump on a hot summer day.
Maybe this is all by design, possibly to eliminate old Warriors, and open up the place to new clueless people with a lifetime value of 7 bucks and the Freelancer group just wants to churn and burn through as many noobs as they can find.
Why, after all these months, are the main forum sticky threads so stale, outdated, and irrelevant?
Instead of major sweeping changes, why not fix one little thing at a time?
