Viewing the Forum as a Feed

We were told when you introduced the "feed" that it wouldn't be shoved down our throats. That we could read the forum as a forum. Now when I open a thread, the feed, which I do not want, is being shoved down my throat.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that your promises about not forcing us to read as a feed meant nothing.

    I agree, it is terrible. People have lost their signatures, you can not report a post. you can not see how new or old a member is. the list goes on

    Par for the course. Way to further degrade and ruin the former Best Internet Marketing Forum on the Net. I wonder if they plan on refunding everyone who has purchased a graphic signature. Completely ridiculous format for a forum.

      For some reason your display is set to Feed. Once you switch back to forum (click the word forum at top). the forum is the same old forum. Mine has always been on forum and didn't know what you were talking about until I clicked feed (system seems to remember your last selection)

    In FF logged in, I see the list of threads as normal. When I click a thread title to open it, it opens up in feed format. In IE (and I assume FF) logged out the behavior is as it was before - all forum.

    And my menu indicator (showing whether I'm in the forum or feed) is always on forum even when the thread opens up in feed format.

    Same here, If using any of the browsers and I am not logged in I see as forum, but once I log in I see all posts as the feed

    @Mike Anthony ... can't even seem to respond to individual posts. This is ridiculous. I clicked on Forum at the top and just went to the front page of the WF. I've never switched to feed, as I hate it. Even after I click on Forum at the top, if I open a thread, it is the feed. No signatures, no report post, no quotes, no reply to post, a thanks link that seems to do nothing. The only words I can think of to describe this is disgust and disappointment.

      Weird. All I can think is that on some systems something like Javascript is being affected. I get forum layout logged in and logged out n both Chrome and Firefox.

      Anyway this seems to be a programming glitch not a change decided on.Just thanked you too and it shows up fine as usual.

      Oh and signatures are showing fine. Javascript is probably being used to change layout options and sometimes that can act strange on some systems.

        Hmmm ... I've got no choice but to view as feed, no signatures, the reply link just showed up and the reply now opens in a new window and is the old style reply window, no report or infraction buttons, Jill can't embed a video, haven't tried pics yet. I just want the old forum format back.

    It seems to be business as usual on the main forum so I think this issue is related to only a percentage of the users here
