Google Searches leading to Feed issue

I like to use google searches with warriorforum keyword when I'm looking for things.

When I click through on google to a desired result, it kicks me automatically into feed.

If I try to click on the "forum" link at that point to see it as a forum post I am then kicked to the main forums and out of the desired thread.

Example search:

warriorforum seo plr

Gives me this top result page:

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...e-seo-plr.html

And if I click there I am in feed. If I then click "forum" I'm given the forum view here:

http://www.warriorforum.com/?utm_sou...mpaign=classic

This is not the case with all searches though. Some stuff will kick me to the forum view directly from google.

Is this a time related thing?

I almost feel like I'm going to have to post in the feed just so I can go back in to my recently posted threads to find it in forum view.

I can't always find results by just using WF direct search.

I've noticed similar issues, from Google, but also from the regular forum sections. Sometimes when I click on a thread, it gets displayed in feed view. Other times, it gets displayed in the regular forum view.

Note to the WF, if I had to guess, I'd say that this is an error caused by Varnish cache. Thus when one user clicks on a page, that page is cached for a certain amount of time -- so all users who also visit that page during that period of time see the cached version. If the first user was viewing the forum as a feed, the next users will also see the page as a feed; if the first user was viewing the page in the old forum style, the next users will also see the page in the old forum style. Eventually, the cache expires and you'll get to see the page in the format that you prefer.

Whatever it's caused by, it's definitely annoying!

Wait... they're using the same URL for the two different presentations?
