Removing WSO rule #17 OR start enforcing it

Hello

So i have a suggestion.

It's about WSO marketplace rule #17

Rule #17: Income Claims & Guarantees

Sellers are not to make claims around income that has been made unless this income can be verified through Warrior Payments. Sellers are not permitted to make claims about or imply that income will result from purchasing a WSO.

This will be strictly enforced to protect the Warrior community.

This is applicable to the WSO Marketplace and all sub-forums.
So i think this rule is good.

However, I can't really understand if it's just on the list of rules for fun, or is it actually something that should be followed?

Lately I've been seeing so many new WSO sales threads popping up which are clearly breaking that rule.

Some have income claims in the title and some have PayPal screenshots in the thread, some have both. The WSOs have nothing to do with warriorpayments and the income for sure cannot be verified on Warrior Payments.

I don't mean to be a snitch about it, but I just would like to get a clear understanding if this rule should be followed or not?

As i understand, before a WSO thread gets approved, it is overviewed by a moderator.

So why do moderators approve threads which are obviously breaking the rules?

Are we allowed to post Unverifiable Income claims?

If so, then an announcement would be nice, so that it's known for all WSO sellers.

Because it obviously puts the people who do follow the rules at a disadvantage.

Mods please clarify.

Thank you,

MeelisM

    Hey MeelisM,

This is strictly enforced and we are cleaning the WSO Marketplace every single day. However, do understand that it takes a while to review so many listing, we got pages and pages of offers.

That being said, members can help by sending thread links directly to me via PM. Please note that the highest priority will be on newer listing.

    Cheers
    Dan

With all due respect, Dan, I think you're missing her point. She specifically mentioned new threads, which are theoretically vetted manually. Someone on your team is already reviewing each of these, before they're posted live. If this is truly a priority for you, why is this not already being caught, as per your own procedure?

        His*

        Just a correction

But the point remains the same.

But I understand that some users get their thread reviewed without the income claims and when they go live they edit them.

So i think all the users should work as "playermods" and PM mods the listings they see that break the rules

        Thanks,

        MeelisM

Whoops; sorry for the gender bender! I figured your name was short for "Melissa"; I (of all people) should know never to assume. My apologies!

There's a tiny red triangle on the left side of each post that people can use to report issues. This would presumably be more effective, as no one is truly aware of any given moderator's schedule or responsibilities.

I have a new question thought

Was the "Edit" button in WSO thread first posts removed?

Because I can't find it on any of my WSO threads :|

Oh, that's available for a one-time Post Maintenance fee of only US$49.95 per edit.

Speaking of income claims in WF ads, I just noticed this banner:

This clearly had to go through WF admin hands before it was launched, and they can't use the same "oh, it was edited after it was approved" argument, so what gives?

              Haha rofl.

No but really, has the edit feature been removed or what?

If yes then that's not really gonna work out too good lol. You have to be able to edit the first post and title.

I think it should be modified.
Warrior Payment just came onboard and not even a popular means of payment on WF let alone selling our products with it on a bigger scale.

Just to cut long story short, if a seller can provide valid income proof, he should be allowed to use it in the WSO. This rule did have a negative effects on many WSOs and also bumping sales/income of WF because buyers love to see figures and if you are a seller that can back it up then you are game.
