Star Rating is questionable in Warriors For Hire forum

I have just posted this in the main forum and someone suggested that I should post it here to get your attention Allen:

Alright I just wanted to point something out:

It's okay to have star rating for threads in the main discussion forum and such.

But in the Warriors for Hire forum this thing can be abused.

I mean I had 5 star rating and for the right reasons as I always make my clients happy.

Now all of a sudden I have 4.20 stars?

I never had an unhappy client.

First tought: A competitor rated me 1 star or something like that.

So as long as competitors can rate your thread and make the rating go lower I think star rating should be removed in the Warriors for Hire forum.

Just my tought....What do you guys think?

    I had NO CLUE that there was such a thing.

    I believe that this would be abused more on the side where someone tries to get lots of 5 stars vs. someone giving lots of 1 stars?

    I believe that the person who leaves a star rating should also have to leave a comment that is public, and can be seen by all on the forum.

    Which now makes them accountable for what they say, which might deter people from doing unscrupulous things to others.

    Just a thought. I guess it could backfire too, but pretty much anything can backfire I guess.

    Here is a possible scenario that could clean up the area and make it more honest.

    The ONLY way someone can leave a star rating would be if they entered a certain code, or number combination etc.... that was generate by a script owned by the WF. Which would keep track of who owned what number etc....

    That way everything is on the up and up and trackable.

    It would increase confidence for buyers. It would also help protect sellers from those abusing the star rating system.
