I suggest implementing some type of notification when your post is deleted, and an explanation of why. I've posted 3 times, and 2 have been deleted just like this one will - with no justification. Just because...Let me know which admin's doing it too that'd be great.

Thanks, let's see how long this one lasts.

This suggestion will never happen. The mods simply don't have time and don't have the need to justify their actions.

Well tell me this - When I take the time to write out a guide and help the users on this forum, and it's simply deleted - that doesn't need to be justified? They "have time" to come delete my post for no reason...Maybe they'd have more time if it wasn't wasted on deleting threads that are relevant? Obviously relevance is a subjective matter, but disregarding my personal biased - that was a relevant thread in the correct section with no promotion or links or anything to cause it's removal.

Whatever your opinion and whatever the post contained...nothing will change. They don't justify what they do. They generally don't respond to threads that complain about their actions as there are too few of them and too many things that need doing.
Maybe in your eyes your thread was a good one. I can't speak for that. I am only telling you what happens so you know.

Yeah I understand, it was more of a vent than a suggestion. Of course it won't be implemented - but it'd be nice to at least know why so I don't waste my time in the future...

Well there is a way this could be done, you just add a popup menu with common reasons for deletion, this way at least you get some indicator of what you did wrong. That would only take the moderator one extra click of the mouse.
