Making the thread order sorting links at the top work

I often try to sort on replies or views to see for example which offers are getting a lot of interest. However the sorting never works. If it worked, I think it might boost ad revenue as it would allow people to have more confidence in phrasing offers that are similar to one that had succeeded in the past.

This is a standard feature of vB, so someone must have done something to screw it up. Only the stickies in a section are sorted properly for me, but the regular threads are never sorted by last post date, which is immensely inconvenient.

The links to change sort order work fine for me. Maybe it's a browser issue, or a security setting that keeps the code from working on your machine?

Definately not limited to one browser. The order changes but it doesn't come out right. If I try to sort on the number of views, I'll get something like : 14,000,13000, 400, 200,10,000 etc.

I'll test on the library computer though they are still on a primitive IE.

As far as I can tell, it's not browser related.

I've tested with Chrome, Chrome Canary, IOS Chrome, Safari, IOS Safari, Firefox & Opera and the sorting options do not work on any of them.

It works fine for me in the main discussion forum, but not in the WSO forum. I didn't try any of the others.

Could it have something to do with the structure of that forum due to the pay to bump function? I figured the sort function would still work, but maybe something in the code prohibits it.

EDIT: After looking around, it does look like any forum that has the pay to bump functionality enabled won't sort based on views or replies, but those that don't have pay to bump functionality will.
