Mods - READ THIS - please! Moderation suggestions

As I have mentioned in another thread, I appreciate the great progress being made by the new mods and the professionalism/even-handed approach. Thank you! To do my part in helping improve the forum, here's my mod suggestions.

Please cut down on the following

1) Threads where people ask for customer support for non-WF services and features like Aweber, Godaddy, hosting companies, etc. Why not email those companies? Why raise the issue here on WF? I suspect a percentage of these threads are actual competitor marketing ads.

2) Threads that 'ask questions' but actually spam a product or program- there are 3 levels
Type I: member asks a question about a product and has a link to the product in the member's sig
Type II: member asks a question about achieving an objective and mentions a product name (no link) and 'asks' for more 'suggestions'
Type III: Same as type II but doesn't mention a product name but 'other accounts' quickly chime in with a link and an endorsement - this is the hardest to catch since it depends on so many factors.

This is a problem because if the keyword in the discussion thread title is rare enough, the WF thread shows up first in Google SERPS.

3) Threads that ask for a specific type of service - coaching or solo ads are the most common. Check for IP addresses and cookies when this happens. Maybe this checking can be automated. The key is to prevent coaches/mentors/gurus being spammed this way.

4) Threads that are repeats of the same stuff posted before. Maybe WF needs an automated ASKED AND ANSWERED system - on the main forum, it seems that the SAME questions keep getting asked. Different day, same stuff. Maybe worded slightly different, but the same stuff.

5) New members can only POST a new discussion after X number of replies. I notice too many THREADS being started by members with a post count of ONE.

6) New members can only post a link after they have replied X number of times.
