Private messaging 120 seconds limit problem/suggestion...

At the moment there is a 120 second delay in sending PMs, which I appreciate is to prevent spamming. However if someone has sent YOU a PM, you should be able to respond immediately.

For example, I asked people to PM me if they were interested in taking me up on an offer... well, I was inundated with members PMing me... but its now going to take me forever to answer them.

So, my suggestion would be to remove the sending limitations when replying to a PM.

I agree but from what I gather, there are technical reasons for it as well as for spamming prevention.

Are these suggestions being read by those who can do anything about them? It would be nice to know that these suggestions have been acknowledged and we're not just suggesting things into mid air?

    Thanks

Yeah I hope someone will take this into account.

It esspecially sucks that you can only send 5 PMs then get limited for an hour.

I can launch a WSO but cannot respond to PMs quick enough. Double edged sword.

Removing time limits is something we have talked about.

The main reasons we have the time limits are:
    - To prevent spam messages.
    - To prevent copy & paste messages. (People, especially buyers, like personalized messages.)
    - To prevent impulse or accidental replies.

I think there is value to keeping a time limit, but it doesn't necessarily have to be 120 seconds.

    What do you guys think?

I think the time limit is a good idea however feel 120 seconds is too long and HATE the 5 messages in 60 minute rule.

I don't want to upgrdae $97 a year for war room but would be happy to pay a smaller fee just to have the limit removed on the PMs.

As a seller its very frustrating trying to message customers but having to make them wait. Like it was said above Time is Money!

I appreciate the time delay.. however 120seconds is far too long.

What I suggest is that to SEND a PM has a time delay, but responding to a PM received has no time delay. So once a conversation has started between 2 members then there will be no delay.

If I create a conversation with another warrior by sending him/her PM, then I will have to wait to send a 2nd warrior a PM.

This would prevent spam, but would also encourage and allow conversation and support of WSOs if any questions were asked by (potenial) customers

Great suggestion, I would like the limit to be reduced too.
