Hi ERP,
You should be able to post in the first forum that is the main marketing discussion one, can't you?

Yes, I found out I could.
Is that the only forum I can post to? Means have to post about 30 posts there. Also, what do you have to do for the system to show that you thanked someone for their post? I see a box below some posts saying that these users thanked the poster. |

Hi ERP,
Well, I don't think so. Except the WSO forum, some paid forums and some admin/mod forums, you should be able to post in the others such as the Main forum, The Copywriting forum, the CPA forum etc. The 30 posts rule is to help us all. Since this is a member moderated forum, if anyone makes 30 spammy posts just to boost up his post count, he'll be nuked easily. ![]() Yeah, that's one function here. A great one. Just below my post, there's some buttons called Quote, MultiQuote, Quick Reply, Thanks in black. See this --> ![]() The functions of those buttons is as follows -- - This would quote my post. So if you are replying to any post in particular, it'll help you refer to it. :-) - MultiQuote is for multiple quotes, that is if you're quoting multiple people. - This actually works in the threaded bulletin environment but I think that's been disabled on this board. So, it's just if you want to reply to some post. Thanks one - To thank someone! ... And all that said, Welcome! I'm sure you'll make a LOT of friends here and learn a LOT of good information. |

Hi Swastik,
Thanks for the detailed info. But I cannot find any button labeled 'Thanks' under any post. Is that because I do not have the 30 qualifying posts yet. The 30 post qualifying rule might be well-intentioned but it is preventing me from asking about a WSO offer in the WSO forum. If someone passes the 30-post mark, can they start spamming? IMHO, someone who spams after certain number of warnings should booted anyway. Also, posts in this forum do not seem to count. |

Hi Swastik,
I am having the same issue, I don't think every post counts, at least I don't see that I have posts accounted for... I've only made a few so far as I am new to the whole posting scene. Well good luck and if you come across any other tips to make this process a little easier, I will appreciate it

Thanks for the welcome, jcx4u.
Saw a few offers in WSO that were interesting but could not inquire or interact regarding them in the same thread. At mininum, a new member should be allowed to reply to existing threads and moderators can delete if the reply is inappropriate. Or even don't show the post until approved by a moderator. |

I agree 100%, if it is member moderated than the posts can be controlled as to what is allowed. Where are you posting? Since I see you have 4 on your tab already? Do you just reply in one of the forums or start a thread... I'm a little confused as to getting my 30 count. Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Sorry for a late reply, I thought this thread was over. Quote:
Umm, then I've to confirm it with some authority. I'll see what I can do. From what I know, it should be available to anyone who is a member. The forum is member moderated. Due to it's popularity, there are many people trying to find holes and cash on those. Those 30 posts give the members an idea of if the person is spamming and he gets booted away! If you've a question to ask to someone, just let me know and I'll be happy to pass on your message to him. ![]() Yes, posts in this forum and the off-topic forums don't count. Quote:
![]() The posts in this forum and offtopic one don't count. If you post in the main forum, or the CPA forum, copywriting etc... they'll count. :-) Quote:
Quote:
This has been done to avoid abuse (afaik). If it were that way, people could post a WSO, make new accounts and post a positive review to boost their sales. There are a LOT of people who try to exploit the popularity of WF' marketplace. Let me know the question you have with a WSO and I'll convey your message. Quote:
What happens is when you see a thread, there's a button there through which you can reply. Like you're replying to this thread, you can reply to any other thread in Main forum, CW forum, CPA forum etc and they will count on your total post count. Quote:
I'll try to get in contact with a moderator to clarify all your issues. Finally, this is a great community. We've a LOT to learn here, everyone is very helpful and you'll find lots of great information in every section. ![]() EDIT: I have PMed KenStrong, a moderator on the forum so than he can clarify your questions.

One of the main problem with post count I have is when I purchase something from WSO Special offers forums and there is a problem, then I'm unable to post any comments. Well because of this I have stopped purchasing from WSO special offers forums. I had trouble with two of the purchases, got my stuff eventually but it had to run around.

Hi Flicanada,
Quote:
I'm still working my way up there as of this writing, but there are lost of people looking for feedback on their web pages, for example. Put in half an hour helping people out with some short comments and you're there! Personally, I'm not in that much of a hurry. But if you are, it seems to be easy enough to do. Or so it seems to me! Mind if I asked anyone that knows how to delete other people posts in WSO?

Why would you want to delete someone elses post? If it is spam, click the report post button.

Thanks for this info. As a new member, I haven't been able to post anywhere and it's frustrating to not find any rules about when/where I can post to start out.
