Default Why do some threads require you to have 30 posts?

Hi,
Wondering why do some threads require you to have at least 30 posts before you can post a reply?

Yeah I noticed that and want the same answer? You would think that it would all be the same requirement wouldn't you? Does it mean that some people's posts are more important than others?

Yeah I was wondering too, I guess they don't want newbies getting too envolved too fast.
