If You Buy Any Other Internet Marketing Educational Product Before Reading This Page... You're Stoooopid (Because You'll Be Wasting a Lot of Money)
Story # 1: "So what is your biggest traffic generator? " About 6 years ago, someone asks on the Warrior Forum: Quote:
That answer is from Allen Says. The answer is just 8 words long. But that answer gives me an epiphany and changes my fortunes. So what is Allen's answer? Quote:
When Allen Says says something, it pays to pay attention. *Aside: doesn't that sentence make you chuckle a little bit? Allen built Warrior Forum into one of the biggest internet marketing forums. Over the years, many forums have come up and many forums have gone. But Warrior Forum stands strong. It isn't all cheery though as success brings some unwanted side effects along with it. Story # 2: The Greatest Violinist of Our Time Teaches An Important Lesson Joshua Bell is World's Greatest violinist. On January 9, 2007 - he plays at the Boston Symphony Hall. It is house full. All 2,625 tickets gone! The cheapest tickets sells for $100. On January 12, 2007 - Joshua runs an experiment. He takes his $3.5million violin (a Stradivari built in 1713) - goes to the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station - and starts playing the same music. He plays for 43 minutes. 1,097 people pass him by - but hardly anyone stops and lingers to listen to him. 27 of those drop their coins while passing. And Joshua earns a grand total of $32! Joshua Bell shows that packaging and pricing makes people pay attention. You can have the same content, but if you don't package it well and command a worthy price, people won't pay attention to it. Problems With The Warrior Forum
Solution to the Problem So to solve this issue, Allen builds a secret room inside the Warrior Forum. And calls it the War Room! Folks have to pay a small fee to access the War Room. This super smart packaging tactic of creating a premium forum inside a forum has meant: Only serious people pay the low barrier fee. It keeps the spammers out. On top of that, Allen makes the single best rule I've seen on any forum. The first post of any thread has to have immense value. Or else, moderators won't let it be published. This means:
Seriously - this is one idea which will make you contemplate shutting down your memberships to all the other forums out there. Because no other forum will have such high quality content without any fluff and noise and drama. What Does The War Room Cost? Allen has priced the entry fee to the war room very smartly too. The cost for 20 years access is $37.
Story # 3: Aristotle Onassis Tells Us What He Would Do If He Loses All He Has Quote:
Tricks and Tactics like:
And these are just a sample from one single page on the forum! Seriously, you will never need to buy any internet marketing educational product once you join the War Room. You may still have to invest in automation softwares, but education - thats taken care of. Other Benefits of Joining the War Room:
I can think of no downside and dozens of upsides! $37 for 20 years. Its the best investment you'll make. So don't procrastinate. And join the War Room now. Note: Keep some time aside per day to learn from the War Room. There are 220+ awesome tactics shared already! Reading and implementing them will take time. | |||

So this is the first draft. May come back in a couple of days and improve upon it. Especially the benefits bullet points followed after Story #3.
Some thought process behind writing this piece: * Headline uses "if... then" - excellent way to get folks to read the first line. Headline also raises a curiosity benefit - "if you don't read this - you may waste money..." * Starts with a poem. Cheeky poem. But should work because no other internet marketing salesletter starts that way. So it sets the tone, makes people pay attention because its something different - and guides to the next line. * Story # 1 - entire purpose is to build up Allen's persona. Why is he credible? Why listen to him? * Story #2 - purpose is to raise the problem faced by other internet marketing forums in general - and the warrior forum in specific. And then position War Room as the smartest solution to all those problems. Attempt has been made to write solutions in a way that eradicates objections too. But I'm sure a bit more work can be done in getting rid of onjections... * Story #3 - leads to the long list of benefits. More work can be done over here - list more benefits. Make sure each benefit bullet point is hard hitting. * There is a note in the end. Attempt has been made to take folks one step ahead and make them think about action to-do once they're already members. But I'm sure that can be improved too. As stated - this is the first draft. |
