I am looking for someone to help me convert an old shopping cart to one that is mobile compliant as well. The site is a Wordpress site but has an old add-on cart created by a company years ago. I want the cart upgraded plus, when someone visits the site via a mobile device, I want the cart to show properly. My customer has a list of things that he wants the cart to do in addition to taking the money (via auth.net). Some below are standard but I just copied what he sent so there wouldn't be any surprises (my comments in red): 1. Divisions of Categories and Products. Categories represent the Brand Names. Products are the styles available for each category. 2. Payment options and requirements. These would be gateways to various sources of payment and the default settings for purchasers. (Talking about Auth.net and PayPal) 3. Shipping parameters. (I don't actually know what this is although I will find out) 4. Ability to select countries available for shipment. 5. Selection of countries where free shipping can be offered. (VERY IMPORTANT) 6. Pricing Discounts. The ability to offer discounts on selected products accessed by coupon codes. (He wants the ability to mark down select products for special pricing at times) 7. Inventory management. 8. Gift Certificates. Allow for Gift Certificates by mail or e-mail. 9. Currency conversion. The comparison of local currencies to the dollar. This conversion to be available with the display of each product. 10. Customers and Orders. The ability to retain and index customers and order info. Also the ability to transfer such existing info. (he means to export the info. No credit cards will be stored, of course) 11. Reports. The ability to generate reports monthly, quarterly and annually- concerning sales, products sold, cost of products, gross profit and best product sold. The admin area needs to be relatively simple as he is not real computer literate. I want the cart built in php or as a Wordpress plugin (no asp). If someone can build it as a plugin or installable stand alone program, I will offer it for sale elsewhere (maybe here) and provide additional commissions above and beyond this bid price. Any other questions or comments can be directed to larry@innovedia.net. I'd prefer to address this via email since I don't get on here but once a week or so and this project is urgent. PS. He's ready to start yesterday and has money in hand. |

Can you move onto some custom CMS rather than Wordpress as there comes a limitation while using Wordpress ?
