Content Manager for established MLM training site

An established, growing online business in the Network Marketing training niche, online since 1999, is looking for a creative individual to take on the position of Content Manager. This would be a part-time, ongoing position. It is 100% work-from-home.

The goal of this position is to improve the quality and design of content on our websites and in our emails so as to increase revenue and sales.

To be a good fit for this position, you should have some marketing and copywriting knowledge and experience. Ideally, you would be able to write articles, blog posts, promotional emails and salesletters yourself.

However, writing sales copy is not an absolute requirement. What is required is that you know something about sales copywriting and can distinguish between good, effective sales copy and ineffective sales copy. This is necessary when hiring and managing professional sales copywriters.

There will be times when a short email will need to be written for distribution to our list or a web page will need some tweaking. In those situations, your ability to write will come into play.

You should have some social media management experience and be able to assist with posting valuable content to our followers on Facebook as well as creating an implementing other campaigns for our "fans".

You should be able to check stats, report those stats to us, and give reccomendations on what needs to be done to constantly improve upon them. Website and email analytics statistics- Google Analytics, Email stats - open rates, CTR, conversion, etc.

These are the responsibilities this position will have:

- Assist with planning and organizing the promotion schedule

- Writing and/or ordering new promotional email copy

- Work with Marketing Manager to develop new offers for each promo – including new product combos, pricing, payment options, free bonus download gifts, free promotional download gifts to increase response, etc.

- Analyze stats on email deliverability, open rates, click through rates, conversion rates and use to improve response.

- Assist in creating a plan and implementing it for email split testing, including new subject lines, segmenting the list, creating specialized offers for certain parts of the list, etc.

- Implement content into our social media strategy by working with our Admin. Asst. to ensure all email content/newsletters are given to her with instructions on when to post them.

- Assist in locating, contacting and working with Guest Writers for our blog. Proofread and edit if necessary all content of ours and guest writers on the blog.

- Implement a blog promotion strategy including RSS feeds; also develop a posting schedule and write the emails.

- Develop a newsletter schedule and supervise the writing and creation of a valuable content-filled newsletter that goes out on a regular basis to our list.

- Supervise testing within the newsletter to see what works well – what links are getting the most clicks, what can we add to the newsletter to make it more fun and valuable for our subscribers – contests, short surveys, videos?

- Keep up with research and new events in email marketing to keep us up to date.

We aren't sure how many hours it will take in a month to accomplish all of this but we would like to start out with ten hours a month at first to make sure we are a good fit and then progress from there.

Sound Interesting? Email me at Rachel@RachelEmbry.coom and send me your website URL as well as anything else you'd like to share such as samples of your work, clients you've worked with, etc.

Also - if you've had experience in Network Marketing, that's a huge plus.

Thanks!
