Experience Required: Theme I have won't allow me to add affiliate links
Share on:

i have installed a wordpress theme to my product review site and i really like it however the customer support that comes with it has gone from decent to a bunch of losers in about 3 weeks time. they won't respond to any of my tickets, emails or requests i've sent over the past 3 weeks.

anyways the theme will not allow me to add affiliate links the way it was intended. the coding is off so i will pay anyone who can successfully adjust the coding $75 so i can add links.

the theme is beautiful but the customer support is pathetic and i think they are just ignoring my tickets. i wish i could report to some higher authority but i wouldn't know where to begin.

anyways, $75 to the first guy who can fix the coding.

I think you already have your man - yet for the future this info will help you:

in order to edit the code you first have to give permission - I know it sounds strange but all themes come with restricted permission... So go into your hosting account, into wordpress and change the permission to 777 for the main template, post template, pages template and whatever you would like to modify in the code ( it's usually 655 or less ) - that is now you can edit and execute it as well.
Hope I was clear enough
