Alrighty -- great opportunity for bigger things here. A few words about myself: I've been doing online marketing for 10 years. Sold over 8 figures worth of stuff online. Have several businesses in various markets. We need some up and coming killer copywriters for a project. If you do GREAT -- you'll get more work. If you KEEP DOING GREAT -- you'll get more money eventually. PROJECT #1: We need some BULLETS written about guitar/bass related products. We have 6 DVDs to write bullets. We're paying $125 per DVD. All you have to do is write the bullets for that DVD. This is a TEST. We want to weed the good writers from the GREAT writers. 1 DVD per writer. We'll email you the footage as soon as you get approved. APPLICATION PROCESS: 1. EMAIL: thejohnsonater74@gmail.com SUBJECT: I AM HIM! 2. INSERT 200 WORDS OF COPY YOU'VE WRITTEN BEFORE. 3. TELL US IF YOU PLAY GUITAR OR AN ANOTHER INSTRUMENT. IF YOU DO -- YOU MUST FILM A 60 SECOND VIDEO OF YOU PLAYING THE INSTRUMENT. PUT UP ON YOUTUBE AND SEND US THE LINK (MAKE IT UNLISTED IF YOU'RE ASHAMED. LOL) Great opportunity to work with a KILLER TEAM! NOW CLAIM IT! |

Pointing out good bullets, then putting them in words doesn't necessarily mean you need to play that instrument. In my first sales job I needed to write new bullets daily or a few times a day, because the market changed every minute and in sales if I was to o say sell a vacuum, I would not only make it sound like your passing up the opportunity of a lifetime, but I would find bullets on allergies, the costs of replacing or professionally getting your carpet cleaned, I would find out every single type of allergy could be relieved by using a better vacuum, I would point out that within x amount of time they would be saving x amount of money, I would point out they are getting a superior product while saving money, and If that wasn't enough I would emphasize the fact that while saving money, and having a cleaner house, they would also be improving their families short and long term health. In fact just for this posts purpose I found a bullet, that is hardwood floors are more likely to aggravate your allergies than carpets, because when you walk on hard wood floors you kick up the dust, pollen, dander etc.. as opposed to carpet which acts as a filter to the dust, dander, pollen, etc.. So if a potential customers objection was "I am planning on getting hard wood floors" I would have them vacuum with their vacuum, and then go over it with the one I am selling and show them what is left behind, thus overcoming the objection they had. This is a tiny example I came up with 5minutes, and believe me I am no maid, but what I can clean up on is any sales room I walk into. The reason I can sell something I never had sold or been familiar with before is because I will get into work an hour before the next guy and have pages of bullets to overcome any objection thrown my way, the more bullets you have the more likely you are to win a battle, and that's how I view anything I sell. So just because he doesn't play guitar or any instruments doesn't mean he cant make solid bullets. I think, actually I know I could come up with better bullets on an instrument in a week than someone who has played for years. In fact by not playing it, it takes away any emotion or bias I would have against and I could stick to the facts about all products so I can know the strengths and weaknesses of the other products that I would be competing against, study and learn their strengths and weaknesses. Then when it came to selling it, I would read/pickup on the buyers emotions, what they are looking for in x product, find their "hot button" and hammer on it till they buy it. Part of what drives me is the rush you get from making a sale, the other is my competitive nature, and obviously the money. In fact after writing this, I think ill throw my hat into the ring, and see if I can get the opportunity to show what I am great at.

You do realize she (Arfa Saira) teaches the subject? No? Well, you'd do well another time to do a little research first into other professional copywriters backgrounds before posting such a diatribe of utter dribble in the future. And next time, if God forbid there is a next time, do try to obey one of the golden rules of copywriting and learn to use a lot more white space. Mark Andrews | |
