Fashion Company Needs an Adwords/Keyword Marketing Specialist

Hey Fellow Warriors!

My fashion company, positioned in the high end female market, needs your help.

We are launching a new shop site and need your expertise to drive relevant traffic.

So just we're clear...

We're NOT looking for someone to simply use the Google Adwords Keyword/Volume Search Tool.

We've already done that work ourselves.

We're also NOT interested in working with an SEO/SEM company either.

We want to work with an individual who has experience in the online-shopping fashion industry...

...or who feels confident they can help us generate some WAY outside of the box keywords to test market via Adwords.

Here's the ideal situation we're looking for:

We have a brief consultation together, preferably via Skype, to see if we're a good fit.

If so...

We'll get together on Skype with my copywriter to give you all the information need to research for us.

Then we'll meet one more time, via Skype, to receive your findings.

Again...

We are NOT looking for someone who will give us generic keywords to advertise on.

We need a freelance Adwords/keyword specialist who can help point us to niches that break the mold of conventional advertising.

More so...

We NEED someone who understands HOW high-end women shop for fashion via Google.

If you feel like you'd be able to accommodate us, please post your response below, including your hourly rates (or how much you'd quote for us for roughly 5 hours of your time.)

Time is of the essence.

We'd like to launch no later than the 4th of September.

Cheers!

-Zuhier

When the so-called high-end women that you talk of go to their search engine (which is not necessarily Google by the way) they invariably type in one of the following: Christian Dior, Anna Sui, Bisou-Bisou, Chanel, Christian Lacoix, Claiborne, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Ellesse, Gianfranco Ferre, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Guess, Jennifer Lopez, Laura Ashley, Levi's, Mango, Moschino, Morgan, Nicole Miller, Perry Ellis, Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Sisley, Sonia Rykiel... and a host of other names.

They then append their favourite designer with an operator like 'handbag' or 'shoes'. The only keywords you are going to find that haven't being explored and monetized are the ones that just aren't 'valuable' to advertisers. Now, if you can turn those perceived 'useless' keywords into gold, go ahead. But bear in mind that big companies with millions at their disposal understand the underlying metrics better than most of us. It's their business to know and understand.

As a consequence of this rather open and naked frontier, you'll be hard-pressed to find a niche keyword that hasn't been discovered by a big-name advertiser. When a company like Amazon enters the space, you know that the profits are way too tempting: http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/08/bu...ur-closet.html

And when the profits are too tempting, few stones are left unturned.

You are probably heavily invested in marketing via adwords and PPC but consider going to the place where these high-end women hangout.

According to this article, Linkedin is one of the most popular social networks among high income female earners: Women & Our Online Behavior and Social Media Habits | Search Engine Journal

And guess what? Linkedin sells ads! Mind you, they aren't cheap (around $2 a click) but no keyword or media buy on high-end fashion is going to be cheap. I know it is tempting to expend much effort trying to find cheap keywords that can somehow be matched to high-end fashion but rarely will the effort be justified. High-end fashion may be the preserve of the privileged few, but their world is heavily patrolled by profit-hungry people.

A solid complement to your keyword strategy is to buy some ads at places where these people hangout and send your traffic to a squeeze page. Building a relationship with so-called high-end women should be easy. The rich like to know that the stuff they've got is not available to everyone else and snobbery is the perhaps the easiest thing to cater to. "Look here daaarling, those proletarians could never afford those wonderful Philipp Plein Mistress Gummy boots you are wearing, how can they?" Send out emails like that along with a link back to your site and I guarantee you'll make some sales.

Dry humour aside though, try complementing your PPC marketing with some tried and tested email marketing strategies. You already have an in-house copywriter so you are halfway there.

Hope this helps and good luck!
