Need Minecraft creators, paid trial
 

I need to hire a few people who like creating structures in Minecraft and can document the process. Once I find the right people, it will be an ongoing gig.

This job would be perfect for someone who needs a little extra cash - a student, stay at home parent, someone unemployed, etc...

Minimum Requirements:

* You must have access to a working installation of Minecraft. If you don’t already have one, it becomes a legitimate business expense. How’s that?

* You must know how to take screenshots of your work and save those images as either jpeg or png format.

* You must be able to write clear simple instructions in English describing your process of structure creation

* You must be able to follow our simple instructions exactly

* You must be able to create a zip file archive of your work to send it to me.

I am looking to hire a few people for a *PAID* test run producing reports for us. If we like each other after that, then I would love to develop a longer relationship as I have an ongoing need for contributors. I like to go through trials as I find the proof is in actions, I am not interested in your resume, only your ability to deliver what I need.

The submitted reports will be on building structures in Minecraft. You will create structures and document the process in easy simple steps, including a screenshot image with each step.

The fun thing about this gig is that you get to build in Minecraft, exercise your creative juices and earn money to boot. This should be easy work because there is no real research if you already know how to create structures in Minecraft. The better your skills and imagination, the easier it will be.

You will work as a freelance contractor for me. However, I will gladly include an attribution to you as author/creator of the “report” if you like, even give you a link back to your website. If you choose to remain anonymous, the report will simply be attributed to our team. (Either way, the pay is the same.)

* Include a screenshot of something cool you’ve created in Minecraft.

* Any examples of content work you’ve done in the past is a plus. Doesn’t need to be about Minecraft.

If it seems like there is potential for us to work together, I will send you a PDF file detailing exactly what is needed. This will also include an “FAQ" answering the most common questions. Make sure you’ve whitelisted “ writers@prospermountain.com ”

Because of the nature of this job, rather than ask for a free sample of your work, we will send you simple detailed instructions and you will be asked to submit a bid. Your bid will include include a project proposal of what you will build in Minecraft with a screenshot and what you want to be paid.

Although price is a factor, I am not looking for the cheapest contributors, I am looking for the best contributors. If you like working with me and I like your work, we will then settle on a price for future on going contributions.

P.S. A couple of quick answers:

Q: Where do these reports go?

A: They will be primarily used in blogs, newsletters, and in books.



Q: How many reports do I need to write per week?

A: You tell us what you're comfortable with. We expect all reports to be given to us within one weeks time of ordering, so let us know how many you can do per week and we will make sure to never assign you more than that.


Q: How will I get paid?

A: We pay you every Sunday via PayPal for all the reports you have done that week. If you do not have an account yet, please set one up. It's completely legitimate (eBay and several other multi-million dollar companies endorse them) and you can transfer your pay directly into your bank account. You do not have to give us access to your account, just the email address used for receiving funds.

Our 7 yr old plays Minecraft. While I haven't extensively played, I've dabbled and set up a few mods/joined him to new servers etc. Does the mode matter? We can do it in creative mode, so we aren't having to build up all our resources, etc...?

If I understand right, we come up with what we want to build. It's not like "here's what we'd like you to build". Right?
