[Reviewers Wanted] Ebook Cover Creator WP Plugin

Love to have reviewers of my new plugin. WPCovers is a WordPress plugin. Just install and activate, then create unlimited 3-D ebook covers (and DVD/CD covers) from templates like this

So for one price of the plugin, a user can create unlimited covers and save them as png files!

I was one of the lucky ones that received a review copy of this WSO.

I have to say that this Ebook Cover WP Plugin is out of this world. Patrick has a video tutorial (under 4 minutes) that shows you step by step on creating a ebook cover.

I watched the tutorial and created my first, professional, quality designed ebook cover! It took two minutes! How sweet is that!

It's all plug and play! You just replace the text, add different options, change the color, edit the header and footer and BOOM you have an ebook cover.

You do not have to know how to edit html, psd files, or graphics. This WSO does it all!

This WSO is a MUST if you sell ebooks or even plan on making an ebook.

I received a review copy of WPcovers WP Plugin and I must say it is super easy to make ebook covers with this plugin, he provides a tutorial on how to use it but really you don't even need it, and I made an ebook cover in less than 1 minute. This is perfect for anyone who wants an easy and simple ebook cover creator. I will definitely be using this for my upcoming product launches!

Unless you have a sizable graphics experience and have actually done a couple of book covers, you’ll know that creating a nice book cover to either advertise your product or to post on Kindle takes work. The less you know, the more frustrated that you’re going to become.

However, every once in a while, something comes along that makes life easy and actually works. WPCovers is a product that solves the problem of creating book covers for 3D cover types. It’s ok if you’re completely inexperienced or if you’ve never put together a book cover in your life, WP Covers will make sure that you create a book cover easily and simply. The interesting thing about WP Covers is that you need to have a WP site in order to be able to use it. It doesn’t appear in your graphics, but it works inside the Wordpress environment as a plugin.

It’s a very simple process of choosing one of 4 designs. Once you’ve selected the design, you’re brought to a screen that allows you to add your own text, the author, quotes a header and a footer. You simply type over the existing text that acts as a guide, and you can put in your book title, a secondary book title, even a review quote.

You can modify the header and footer by adding your author name and your website and even additional material in the header. Once you’ve taken care of your text information, you can then select various background types and colors and you can change the colors to your hearts content, for the main background, the header and the footer.

The program allows you to add some additional graphics that will enhance the cover even further, like a best seller medallion and free ribbon on top. After you’ve done all that, you then save your cover and you’re on your way to create your new 3D cover. You click on create a 3D cover, find your cover and then you can create various types 3D covers of your book. You can also make DVD cases and CD cases all in 3D. The books covers can be hard cover and soft cover. You can even make it look likes it’s on a TV monitor.

This is a plugin that makes creating a 3D book cover a breeze. Especially if you’re a newbie, you will find this program an amazing helper and a big time saver.

Even though this is a nifty program, there are some wish list type items I’d like to see added. First, the product creator should consider having an option to save the book cover as a flat kindle cover at 2500 X 1562. This would allow Kindle authors to make very fast Kindle covers for their books. Another wish list item is having the capability of changing the font size on the text for the titles (it’s fixed right now). The title sometimes would spill into two lines and I would have to tweak the second line for the secondary title. If you’ve never made covers, then you probably wouldn’t notice this, but you also wouldn’t know how to tweak the secondary title. However, I understand that there are tutorials to get around this.

In a near future version, the program is going to allow you to upload your own image so that you can convert that image into a 3D cover. That is definitely a plus in an already great little program. But as it is, it makes great 3D covers and it’s very easy to work with. If you’ve never created a 3D book cover before in your life, you’re going to love this.

All in all, if you need a fast and simple 3D cover maker that’s going to create some very nice book covers and then give you the option to export it in different formats, the WP Covers will take care of all your needs. I would strongly recommend getting this program.

One of the great things about this plugin, is that updates are automatic, so if and when I do improve it, just opening the plugin brings those improvements to automatically into the creator. Okay here's my honest review of WP cover plugin.

Plugin - It is a nifty little plugin which you can add to any wordpress site to create 3D covers (be it DVD, hard cover, soft cover - anything really) in less than 1 minute flat. Yeah! Its THAT fast and easy.
I have 0 knowledge about web design, ebook cover creation and the likes and I am not tech savvy at all - Still, I could make my first ebook cover within 10 mins and now I can create any cover in less than a minute. Its as easy as typing header/title, byline and choosing from nice backgrounds/ colors and add ons - super fun too =D

Support - I got stuck once and Patrick helped me out in a jiffy. Support was fantastic and he even created a screencast to help me understand the small time lag (no biggie, btw). Super stuff!

Overall rating - 10/10

Had the chance to test this really cool plugin developed my OP and i must say i have been impressed with the results. Actually i am on a guy's list where he sent his subscribers how to design your own 3D cover using online resources but this plugin takes ebook cover designing to a new height and that too as much as you want without doing any hard work going online looking for resources. The quality of the 3D cover is better than the one from where i learnt.

One does not need to have any previous knowledge because OP has got taken care of that with this plugin which lets you design 3D covers on the fly also the support was top notch whenever i had doubts the OP was there to help me on skype.
