I don't even remember all the new features, but here are a few of the enhancements (taken from about 20 that are listed at Rapid Action Profits :: Log in )

1. The ability to create a zero dollar Coupon Code ($0.00)
allows RAP owners to give an existing front-end product
away, but still register the ownership. The order button
is automatically replaced by a registration form.

This feature allows you to create a "freebie" from any
existing product, and can be a great way to do a special
promotion, or a product launch.

2. RAP customers can create a custom Payment Page for their
customers when they get to Paypal.

There are a number of things they can customize, but the most
important is the ability to supply a custom header image for
the Paypal payment page. For instance, they might put their
site header at the top of the page.

3. The RAP Admin now includes an interface to the Three
Pillars Helpdesk system (from multiple domains).

The RAP Admin Dashboard can alert you to new helpdesk tickets
from as many Three Pillars helpdesks as you have installed
- and open your helpdesk admin window as an overlay INSIDE your
RAP Admin area!

4. Automatically Cloaked URL's for affiliates! Using the new
scrnch.me service, RAP-driven affiliate tools pages will now
include a cloaked URL for affiliates to use. It's right in
the affiliate tools page, and it's automatic!

I don't know of any other affiliate program today that
automatically provides affiliates with a cloaked link.

5. Import Affiliates and/or JV partners from a flat file.
Your RAP customers can extract their affiliates from an
existing affiliate program, and upload them directly into
their RAP database.

Instant commissions are great for businesses (sellers) that pay "taxes" based
on turnover (I don't know in other countries, but it works like that in France
for "social security cotisations").

RAP does NOT have it's own autoresponder. You can broadcast mail directly to customers, affiliates, and/or JV partners, but there is no internal provision for a timed series of messages.

RAP does provide for manual or automatic opt-in to any commercial autoresponder, whether a service, or self-hosted. If you're operating on a shoestring, you can use just the internal mailing facilities, but the flexibility is there for you to decide which option is right for you.

How about link to affiliate / reseller's autoresponder ? How many level of subscribers can affiliate/reseller access to ? This is the most common question post by my affiliates/resellers

RAP only supports 1st and 2nd tier affiliates. It does not share mailings from tier to tier, or provide other services for running MLM systems.

However I've been playing with Delavo -free edition- and I'd really like you're be able to point out what are the main diferences between these two scripts.

I think RAP is all about instant commissions and it's because that I'm interested in it yet, but... Delavo has not instant commissions too? I don't know really and I couldn't to find an answer to that.

If you could to clear me that I think I could do a good decission about RAP it's for me or not.

That's nice, but...

'100% commissions' and 'instant commissions' are two different animals. One is used to calculate the commission amount, the other determines the timing of payment.

With instant commission programs, the affiliate gets paid on the day of the sale. Without instant commissions, the affiliate is paid on some schedule defined by the merchant (i.e. x days after the end of the month in which the sale occurred).

Yes. Rapid Action Profits includes a self-managed affiliate program as one of its primary features - so Clickbank becomes superfluous.

As with $7 script, I know there were some issues about PayPal closing accounts for asking to optin before accessing the item. Not sure whether this was solved somehow or not.

How does it work with RAP? (the optin thing before accessing the purchase, I mean).

Could not find this covered in the sales page.

Hey Alex,
Ya, this is easily taken care of in R.A.P. and not even an issue.
Not only are all your templates fully editable but you also have the option to skip the "opt in" page and send them directly to the "thank you" page... or the "OTO".

Also, R.A.P. has an auto opt-in feature where it sends their name and e-mail info from the paypal IPN straight into your opt-in form and submits it automatically.
If you use double opt-in, all you have to do is get them to confirm the e-mail, which you can do by offering a bonus on the thank you page and telling them you've already sent it and they just need to click the link.

There are like 20 ways you can do this and its really only limited by your own creativity.

Here are a few of the ways you can do it but like I said, there are many more and its only limited to your creativity.

1. have them go to a squeeze page after purchase and give them a reason (bonus) to opt-in. But also have a small link on the bottom of that page that says "no thanks, just take me to the download page" or something similar.

2. Have an opt-in box on the download page that offers a bonus. Or and this is what I've found works best offer "free lifetime updates" to the product. The updates reason for us has shown an opt-in rate of about 90% on our sales across many niches and products. And you know its a good e-mail because they want to be notified of updates.
If you're using this to build a list, just say "sign up here to receive updates and also join my news letter...". Just be sure to emphasis the updates as that is what they're mainly after.

as for the "drip content" you'll need to get the membership add-on. I don't have a lot of experience with this as I'm not currently using it but I'm pretty sure it allows you to do that and a lot more.

That's really immaterial.

No one with an identity of "tbsr017" has purchased the product. There is no correlation between your username here, and your Paypal name, email address, etc.

The download link(s) was present on the download page where you were returned after the purchase. You were also sent an email (to your Paypal email address) with a link to the download page.

If you paid via eCheck, the download link won't arrive until AFTER your payment clears. That could take 4-5 business days.

Out of all the users of RAP that use the auto optin feature, there hasn't any complaints about having the PayPal emails being used.

The way it works is seamless with the sales process. It works behind the scene so they get to their purchase.

Not sure what you mean about being used on WordPress. It can be set up on the same domain as WP and products added to folders, product info in posts, even order links. If you have the members Add On, then you can protect WP with the members area.

The Members Add On will drip content in the members area, according to the number of days you want to set.

Something you have missed. The Members Add On comes with the PayPal add on. This gives you the ability to do up to 2 trial periods, 3 installment payments and recurring monthly billing. Big plus for using the members area.

It's always a "special deal".

You just don't get the $50 discount any longer.

The history of this product is that discounts have typically only been offered about the time there was also a price increase. That means that, while you might get a discount at some point in the future, it could still cost you more than the list price is right now.

For instance, those who bought at list price back around the first of this year, paid less than those who purchased last week using a discount coupon - those who bought when RAP was first released, paid $100 less than those that bought last week with the discount.

While we offered a special deal for our 2nd anniversary, RAP has seen 5 price increases in that same time frame. Customers who purchased back when we first released the product are still receiving free upgrades every time we release a new version. There are a lot of them here in the WF, so you can ask them for yourself, but I think you'll find they are more than happy with the investment they made.

You can wait for the next "special deal" if you'd like... but time is not your friend.

Funny, I thought that's what the original post was all about. Not only was the RAP product heavily discounted, but 15 other products, from participating partners, were also discounted for this offer -not to mention Josh's very generous offer for free video training if you bought through the link here.

Sorry if you missed it, because I really don't know if I can ever get the other merchants (6 of them participated in the sale) to agree to this again in the future. It took days to get everyone to agree on the discounts, bonuses, and the time-frame for this special offering.

You're probably going to read this as "smug" again, but which do you want - "greater value", or a "no frills intro version"? (or yesterday's sale price?)

RAP customers get "greater value" with each new release (free upgrades for the life of the product). As a result, the current version IS the "no frills" version, because it only gets better with time.
