Review : BUYER BEWARE - DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED

Firstly this is not an attempt to hijack this Classified Ad thread - rather a sharing with other warriors of my experience with this product creator.

My Experience

No welcome email with login information
Raised ticket - waited over 12 hours for a reply to access what I had paid for. Login information provided did not work - another 12 hours + to get login access

I have watched both the sales videos, webinar videos and training videos

I watched all of the videos BEFORE opening the software, as suggested.

First thing I noticed is that the dashboard looked very different from the videos. No biggie, I can figure my way around a website.

Created a Test Image. Hotspot placement and editing was easy.

Put in links to a YouTube video, a blog post, a downloadable PDF, and a link to "icon lead" found problems with all 4

Issue: 1
Video is not iFramed within the image, and the viewer is diverted to YouTube to watch the video, instead of keeping the viewer on MY site as showed in the training videos. This was one of the appeals of this software, was keeping people on my site to view the videos. I would rather just embed the video on my site, instead of sending them away from it.

Issue 2
Link to blog post, once saved, shows as 403 error. Yes the link is clickable both icon and 403 link going to same destination - Why would anyone click on a "403 Forbidden" link

Link to icon lead created Link "http://iconlead.com" and redirect "https://iconlead.com" yet on icon link shows as "301 Moved Permanently" and hover over shows "iconlead.com"
Hover over icon shows link as "https://iconlead.com" not the link entered.

I provided iconlead support with a link to the test [available via PM for anyone seeking proof of issues] that these errors are on

The sales videos, demonstrations and the training videos all talk about features and benefits which the actual software, in my test, does not provide.

So either there are serious problems with the product since it doesn't create images as advertised or Lee Penninton is just one of those promoters who is more interested in getting your email address to "affiliate spam" you with offers under the reciprocal mailing offers that he makes to his potential JV's and JV Leaderboard positions, bragging rights and prizes are more important than giving customers what was promoted.

I was impressed with the demo's and potential however to date this appears to be nothing but "smoke and mirrors" or in certain parts of the world - false and misleading advertising

So my review and advice is BUYERS BEWARE

After 6 days of no resolution have requested a refund as per offer-



And based on others experience dont expect this "snake oil affiliate spammer" to reply or even honour his "double your money back" when tickets are not replied to.

So next step will then be PayPal chargeback [which is what I recommend any other dissatisfied purchaser does] grab his attention [his Paypal account] and maybe he will get the message - don't con members of the WF

Appreciate the detailed review from kahndoit. Here's my cursory review...

I bought Pro version two days ago (from a webinar with Lee Pennington and Neil Napier) and I am working through issues with the developer (Lee) as we speak. Or rather, I am waiting for a Skype session to learn why the images are not displaying within the hotspots.

- Like "kahndoit", I can't get PDF downloads OR the html code feature to work. Even the simplest html code fails and won't save within the hotspot or display.

- I have just now (within the last few minutes) been able to display some images, but not others.

- I have gotten videos to display within the hotspots.

- I am beginning to think maybe they are having server problems as the program is web based and the files are all hosted on their servers.

- And there is a little lock/ unlock icon in the functional links for managing the main image, but that is never mentioned in the training. Also, the training video does not show the html option in the drop down choices for the hotspot functions, so makes me feel the software was a a bit undercooked when they did the launch. Maybe they were trying to beat some of the other products with better Facebook integration that are coming out this week.

Have had no luck getting response from support tickets, but got Lee's email off the webinar when I spoke up in the chat during their "bonus" webinar and said it wasn't working. At least Lee appeared concerned and did reach out to me after the webinar, but after providing him with a Jing video of the issue and links to several failed hot spots, all I got was "you're doing it wrong, we'll be in touch". Been about 24 hours since I was told they would be in touch.

Having been on the internet since 2007 and having built many websites (one getting 15,000 visits per day) and having bought and installed hundreds(?) of plugins and all kinds of fancy software (not a coder mind you), I am getting a little frustrated.

Making No summary decision as of yet. It appears they are in the UK and it is the weekend, but feel a launch is a launch and support should be responsive regardless of what day it is.

Will try to keep this updated as the issues continue and provide my final review.
