You won't be able to download as a SWF or AVI or upload to the 17+ video sites as a free trial user.....

However click on the "add to web/myspace" and you'll get a code for your video as well as be able to upload your video to your facebook, blogger,wordpress, yahoo and all those types of sites as a free member.(can be uploaded to your blog etc without visiting those sites)

I looked into this for you.

Article Video Robot purchase the voice-overs separately from a third-party vendor through an exclusive licensing agreement (that prohibits any changes) and the voice-overs are set by design.

This prevents AVR from even adding a simple volume control option to it to adjust the volume of the voice-over.

As you had mentioned, voice-over in itself is a costly technology AVR buys the characters through an exclusive licensing agreement and integrate with AVR.

Jim,

Don't worry about not being able to find anything that says "create blank project". Just click the button to start a new project and follow the steps in the video. Your projects will appear at the bottom, impossible to miss. Play around with it, 30 seconds and you'll see for yourself.

As for hidden costs and credits. It's pretty straight forward if you read the FAQ or click on upgrade. There are 2 monthly membership options. One for 50 credits and one for 125.

The 50 credits allow you to create and upload to the video sites 50 sites each month.

The 125 Credits allow you to create and upload to the video sites 125 videos each month.

Contact support if you have more questions or check out the site better and play around with things, that is what the free trial is for.

Also where the best place to put are keywords in the main text or in the subheadings of the videos

It's still early in the game, but I'm pretty stoked about using AVR, here's why.

After producing a pretty pedestrian 1st AVR piece (late last night) in less than 24 hours, my article is on Page 1 of Google (3rd listing) for the longtail KW phrase "what if your articles could talk" [broad match 138mm pages] which I think is pretty darn kewl. I'm curious though, if you other guys have had similar results with AVR in such a short period of time?

Has anyone had success uploading an mp3 audio of YOUR VOICE vs. using the computer generated versions?

The few AVR's I've created have done well with Google PR and generating a fair amount of traffic BUT when I upload a recoding of my clients voice sound so bad, I can't use them.

I am using Camtasia to convert to mp3 which sound fine on my end but sound horrible on my play back.

Curious if others have experienced similar results?

When I check my back office I get the message that I still have all my 125 credits left and have to pay 1 credit for every time I download an avi or flash video.

Any ideas about this?

That sounds right to me.

The end result is you were able to create 1 video, download it and submit it for the actual cost of 1 credit right?

The message you got probably just applies to their own tracking of your use, but it looks like the actual cost was free just as they state it will be.

As this is a third party application on which one's material is presumably stored, what security is there to protect one's material from being used or compromised in any way?

They just added more features, so this product is still evolving and the owner developing it to be better and better.

I suppose if they get enough feedback and request for it, more voices would be on the menu.

You are able to upload your own voices as well. Plus you can always leave off the voices if they sound robotic to you. Not everyone wants to listen anyways.

The video distribution is actually a whole different membership called video submit robot. You get it free though with your article video robot membership.

I'm not sure how they track it, but you are able to submit each video you have created within AVR, but won't be able to videos you have not created with AVR.

You are allowed to make as many videos as you have credits for.

50 or 125 credits means you can make an equal amount of videos each month. (1 credit= 1video)(Video submit robot submission included free)
