2. Joining Too Many Programs

Most people that have a successful e-commerce career will tell you that you have to cultivate multiple sources of online income. However, this does not mean that you join all the affiliate programs you can lay your hands on. It will be better to take time, study the available options when it comes to affiliate programs and choose a few of the ones that you think you can succeed with. Taking on too many programs always leads to confusion and a constant feeling of being overwhelmed. In addition, you will not have the needed time to study the products and be in a position to review it objectively for the consumer. Take time and select the products that you need wisely. To answer your question, the concept is similar to what you've mentioned, with a couple of additional twists and some software involved as well.

I'm not at liberty to speak about the exact strategy and details out of respect for the product creator and because they want to keep their methods private for their customers...however, in short what you've mentioned is mostly correct (with some additional enhancements and upgrades, and also my bonuses will open up a new business model to use with Amazon as well).

6. Being Honest

The internet is full of spam messages about how someone made ’50,000dollars in one hour from this’ and such false posts. The one thing you need to understand about such posts is that they automatically discredit you as a customer. What is even worse is the fact that there are people that will write lengthy articles about how they cannot seem to make any money online but end their post with a signature line that reads ‘I made 2 million online using this’ followed by their affiliate link. This is bad for business. If you want to be taken seriously by customers for a long period of time, and you do, avoid lying to them. As a matter of fact, avoid making any claims at all. Just make nice posts on the products you are selling and how they will help the customer. Honesty will earn you customers and more importantly, keep them.

7. Lack Of Focus

As an affiliate marketer, you will be facing the temptation of new campaigns in your inbox every single day. These are what well-seasoned marketers call butterflies. This is because unwise marketers tend to follow up on these new links that look promising and forget the campaign they were working on previously. This with time becomes a pattern, and the result is dozens of incomplete campaigns. Focus is very important to a marketer. While it is true that you will come across new marketing strategies that are worth your time, it is also important to avoid leaving half baked projects and running off in search of new ones. It would be better to have fewer complete projects than hundreds of half-baked ones.

As you can see, affiliate marketing is not just something you do for some quick cash. The seven mistakes mentioned above all point towards one thing, the fact that the customer is always the key determiner of your success rate in affiliate marketing. Therefore , if you have been performing poorly in affiliate marketing, you need to stop approaching it from the point of view that it has to make money for you and start looking at it in terms of how you can use it as a platform to assist consumers. Also, this seems excellent but that it might take a lot of time to do each day, on an average how much time does a person have to dedicate let's say 6 days per week like me who works? Whatever time it's, is there a blueprint on what to do each day and how long would it take working these hours each day would a person more or less become successful??
