Known as the cost per completed view, this idea is surpassing the pricing standard set by Facebook when it comes to view ability. The recent change to CPCV pricing by Unruly is seen as a positive change. To understand why people are saying that Unruly is becoming one of the best places on social media for video advertising and what this major change means for both advertisers and the company, here is what you need to know.

Why The Change To CPCV Matters

On YouTube, advertisers appreciate the fact that their video must be viewed for at least 30 seconds before they will be charged. After 30 seconds have passed, the charge kicks in. Advertisers have learned that placing the most important information within the first 30 seconds pays off. This will optimize your video ads towards individuals who are the most likely to take the action that you desire (like going to your website after the video is over) instead of only engaging on the post. This will help to lower your costs per video and also provide you with better insights for your ad.

To use oCPM for pay per view, you allow Facebook to search for users who are within your specific price point. Although you will pay a higher price than regular CPM bidding, in the end, your cost per view will be lower.

4. Select the right target audience for your video ads.

On Facebook you can create standard video ads for specific individuals, such as people who have viewed your content already.
