Facebook is ranked among the world’s main driving forces that people use for creating website traffic. However, what people need to realize is that managing these pages are often going to be demanding in the same way as a job that people need to take seriously. Facebook recognize the value of time page owners have to put in, and has consequently made considerable changes on the way internet information gets displayed. The main thing that the page owner is going to see is the change to their insights page. There are some changes that were not made for those individuals who post new adverts must be keen enough to understand that it is going to require them to go back to their older insights dashboard. The new changes are not going to allow people to see how well their posts are doing when compared to some of the other posts and the clicks. So people will have to find this information on their own. So people will need to make sure they know about these changes because it is not going to help people in getting to enjoy the ease of getting to explore all of their insights accounts.

The more complex data is also missing on the individual posts pages as people are going to find it is very hard to get all of the data listed on the posts. So people will still have to go inside of their insights accounts to get this information as well, but this is going to be easier for people to get the right information pulled out it will just require a little bit more in the way of work that some people may not want to do as much because of the way the insights accounts are set up and the difficulty they have presented in the past.

Speed and time is of the essence when people are working on the Internet, but it is also something which people are going to want to have more of, which is nearly impossible to gain. Still, Facebook has discovered several ways to help business people in their quest to get to enjoy more time while they are on their pages and this is will be done through getting the individual posts insights onto the pages. When people see these changes they will find they no longer have to go into the pages insights accounts and try to dig through all the information to get the results they need to know about. Instead, people will have a chance to go through each of the posts and have it set on their page without having to go through the insights account. So they can finally see the results they need to have, and know exactly how it is going to help their marketing campaigns and Review Trust members should understand this concept as well.

Seven Problem Areas that Instagram Should Address

Instagram shares one of the coveted spots online as one of the most popular social media networks on the globe. The network is all about sharing pictures and videos with close friends and relatives as well as the world and Review Trust members can also benefit from displaying positive reviews.

It has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success and has a loyal following of well over 300 million users. In 2012 Instagram was bought for $1 Million by another social media giant Facebook. Even though this kind of success is worthy of international applaud --There are a few aspects of the Instagram approach to social media that could use some attention.

These points mostly deal with the experience that Instagram provides its users:

1. Regramming Speed

The first point has to do with the speed that photos and content can be regrammed from the app. Isn’t the idea of social media to provide the fastest form of disseminating content across networks of friends and relatives?Then Wassup?

Twitter for instance has this kind of speed. If you see a tweet that you feel was impressive, pertinent or clever enough to share with others you can retweet it with literally the click of a button and Review Trust users can gather reviews that get retweeted.

No such instant sharing feature exists on the Instagram Platform, If I receive a great snapshot on the app I should be able to pass it on to the people in my list with the click of a button, but no. As a matter of fact there are only two ways around this situation; first you can jimmy-rig a solution with a third party tool or manually make the copy and send it out to the recipients making sure that the attributes from the original are reflected in any copies.

Actually this aspect of instagram makes giving credit to original sources extremely difficult and this is problematic.

Take the example of Josh Ostrovsky who became exceptionally famous by releasing content from other sources because he was not able to properly give credit to original authors and originators. This is a situation that Instagram should address as soon as possible. for the improvement of their service and the interests of those whose material may be shared and.

2. Embedded Links

This brings the second area that Instagram should improve into stark appearance. Instagram does not allow for the embedding of links into their posts. This means that if you take this great picture of yourself at the Premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII you will not be able to give any more information on the picture --if you cited something interesting you found you will not be able to connect it to the original source for verification and Review Trust members can help increase conversions.

The only current step around this is to consistently adjust your bio link and send in your posts an annotation to check your bio link for more information on a particular post. This of course entails toggling the information visible to everyone and visible to just friends on and off each time you do this and updating info for each picture you post and let's face it... nobody got time for that.

Of course the reason behind this particular feature of not being able to embed links is to keep the spammers at bay --fair enough-- but every major social network is going to have to deal with this issue sooner or later and in some way or another for the greater good --the greater good-- and today the merchants are moving across all the social networks and every other aspect of the internet-- it’s evolution just like the Review Trust software.

Now step into the new millennium with the rest of us, Instagram, and let us have our links in posts.

3. The Whole Spat Between Instagram and Twitter

The next thing that has to change is the fact that instagram Images can be viewed from Twitter; why is this? It is political, obviously.

Someone must have looked at someone wrong because one day Twitter stopped allowing Instagram access to it’s list of subscribers --maybe insults were swapped-- and then Instagram decided to not allow Twitter access to their pictures --it was tragic.

But the real victims here are the Instagram users who have to deal with this debacle. Some will post on Twitter and Instagram --which is just a colossal waste of time-- and others may post a link to the Instagram photo --and that's no good cause you have to switch apps to view the pictures and Review Trust members focus more on conversions than on traffic and posting.

Then some others might just call it quits and leave Instagram altogether-- Free advice to Instagram: Theses things happen, we understand the anger, but sometimes you just have to let these things go --for the sake of the customer.

4. Hashtag Algorithms

The next point on my list of criticisms would be directed toward the system of hashtag algorithms that instagram relies on to provide search results --its overly simplistic. Each keyword or tag is viewed completely separately from any of its derivatives or related words --in other words the search results you would get for #boat and #boats would be completely different.

This causes users to compensate by filling up the keyword lists with every word and derivative of words possible to be sure that the picture shows up on all relative search results --this is inconvenient and should be addressed immediately.

5. Upgrades Tag Apps for iPhones

Tagging is the problem here; Instagram has a very nice tag app that allows the user to select from a list of popular tags as you start typing a tag on your phone --you can also see how popular the tag is and this can affect you decision, pretty good right?

Sure it is, but why is it only available on android devices? The iPhone only allows you to select from previous tags, what's up with that?

6. General Improvements on the iPhone App

Instagram should put some work into making its iPhone app a more pleasant experience. The app doesn't support landscape pictures and therefore iPad people have to be flipping their devices around to snap shots and zoom in--not cool...

7. The PC App

Finally, is there a reason this app can't be used on a desktop? Yes, it began as a mobile app but diversification is the law of nature. Besides, who wants to send emails from their phone from their computer if they want to share a picture. That’s not 2015 --that’s not even 2010.

This concludes my humble list of improvements that Instagram should consider if they hope to continue with happy customers. If not they may begin to lose their customers to social networks that are more user friendly.

6 Easy Ways To Get Testimonials - PART 1

Great sales letters and presentations are important to your business. You can generate all the traffic in the world to a site, but if you cannot get the person to buy then it does you no good. One of the most effective ways of increasing your conversions is to have a lot of good testimonials on your site. There is nothing like social proof to help drive the sales of your product or service.

How effective are testimonials? According to the B2B Content Marketing Report 2013 Survey, they are the most effective tools that a marketer can use in his campaign. A whopping 89% of survey respondents indicated that they believed them to be effective. This is in comparison to only 23% of people believing the widely regarded strategy of doing podcasts is effective.

Nielson's Global AdView Pulse found in its survey that only personal recommendations were more effective than testimonials in influencing customer purchase decisions. 70% of people indicated that consumer opinions posted online were highly trusted compared to only 58% of editorials posted in newspapers and branded websites. Ads on TV represented only a 47% level of trust in the survey and the Review Trust tool can help you quickly display these in prominent locations on your site.

A survey taken by Search Engine Land found similar results. 72% actually indicated that they trusted testimonials as much as personal recommendations while 52% said the existence of testimonials increased their chances of using a business.

Given this backdrop on the importance of testimonials, it is important that you get as many as you can to increase your conversions. The best way of doing this is to establish a proactive methodology to elicit positive feedback. In this article, we will examine six great ways to get great testimonials.

It is important to understand first what makes for a good testimonial. Most importantly, a good testimonial will be a from a real human being. Given the anonymous nature of the internet, it can be tempting to make up imaginary people and write up some glowing fake reviews. The problem is that this is highly illegal. Moreover, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has recently begun to be more active in prosecuting those marketers and businesses that rely on fake reviews to con people into buying their products or services. New FTC guidelines also require that any testimonial accurately reflect what is actually possible when using whatever it is you are selling. If your testimonials all represent high-end successes, you might need to include a clear disclaimer somewhere on the page claiming that these are not necessarily representative of what someone might expect and give more reasonable guidance as to potential results.

Also, understand that the testimonials do not need to be 100% polished. Real people post informal reviews that are not going to be perfect. In fact, if the testimonials were perfect then a reader might suspect that they came more from a slick Madison Avenue marketing firm than from a real person. Thus, the testimonials should not be edited either. The more credible the testimonial the better, especially if you are targeting a demographic of normal people. By the same token, it is important that all testimonials be in the words of the people leaving the view. These should never be written in advance by the organization asking of the review.

A good testimonial will also go as much into specifics as possible. Vague language does not sound nearly as compelling as testimonials that talk about specific parts of your program and gives real world numbers.

It is also important to try to get your customers to leave video testimonials. If a potential customer can see a real human being giving the recommendation, it will significantly increase the credibility of everything that is said. This is also great content to put on Youtube to generate additional traffic for your business. These videos can be very easy to rank for your business and the word "reviews" which is a common search that is made when people are looking for services online and because reviews are so important, tools like the Review Trust have become very popular.

Finally, it is important to get the permission of whoever has left you positive feedback to post their words publicly. Otherwise, they might be upset if they found their words posted unexpectedly all over your website.

The first great way of actually getting testimonials is to try to get it right after the first sale. If you are doing a pitch in person or video conference, asking for a video testimonial right after a person says yes is going to give you the best results. The reason is because that is when someone is generally most enthusiastic. If they are buying, it is likely because the right emotional buttons have been triggered by the presentation and that buyer's high is likely to wear off after the sale.

Another great way of getting testimonials is to get up a Facebook reviews tab. The first thing you will have to do is set up a Facebook local page for your business. Then customers can come right to the page and add testimonials right from their Facebook account. These can be particularly effective as these can be shared across the social network to expand the reach of the testimonial.

You can also use the Linked In social network to help you to collected testimonials. They have an endorsements feature that you can use to get people connected to you to give your products the thumbs up. As with the other methods of getting testimonials, make sure that you get their permission prior to posting them on your marketing materials.

Sometimes you will get spontaneous emails from your customer talking about the great results that your product or service has gotten from them. When this happens you need to be ready because they are also likely in that moment psychologically disposed to helping you get the word out about your business. Immediately email them back and ask if you can use the text from the email on your website. Tell them that you can display an anonymous testimonial or one with just their first name if they are not comfortable having their full name attached to the quote. This is also a great time to see if you can get them online for a video testimonial.

A dedicated review portal is another great way to collect testimonials. This can be on your website where it is clearly visible to people coming in. One way of generating visits to the portal is to offer an incentive for leading honest feedback about an experience. Note it is important that you only do this for your internal feedback page and not public review pages such as Yelp or Yellow Pages. This is because that would be against their terms and services in most instances. Instead, if you happen to get a five-star review let the client that left the review know you would appreciate it if they would leave it on another site. Just do not provide an incentive for that extra step on their part.

Finally, you can hold a Facebook contest to try to elicit testimonials. You have to be careful in how you word the contest so that you are complying with Facebook's terms and conditions which change frequently. You might be able to offer a tangible incentive such as a product discount or simply the exposure of the winning testimonial in your advertising. Sometimes it does not take much at all to bring out that competitive spirit to move people to take action.
