I'm looking at a training product called Consulting Mastery. I learned about the creator, Mario Brown, when I read a review about his 7 Day Facebook Commission Formula Training--and bought the course.

7 Day Facebook Commission Formula is easy to understand and apply. What really stood out is how energetic he is when he teaches the class. Mario even motivates you to take action.

Mario's goal in this course is to teach anybody who is interested in consulting (or anybody who is thinking about it) a simple, step-by-step strategy for opening and running a consulting business.

Upon entering the Members Area, there is a brief introduction to the training modules. The training is divided into 9 areas. The product area headings are well marked and easy to find.

Each Training Area Includes:

A Training Video, which lasts between 20 and 30 minutes.
A List of Video Highlights
A PDF of the Videos Slides
A Preview at the start. You will know exactly what will be covered in that lesson.
An Action Plan at the end. The Action Plan explains the tasks to perform or goals to accomplish, based on the video training.

Although the modules include some written content such as the slides that list the main point and tools that Mario uses in his business, you'll probably need to take notes.

Likes and Dislikes

Likes

User Friendly- Member Area is easy to navigate. The training Modules are well labeled and easy to use.
Videos- The videos are well produced. Every video is easy to see and hear. The slides shown on the videos are easy to read. Aside from a brief logo opening, Mario quickly gets into the content.
Preview- I like Marios use of previews. When I know what to expect, I have an easier time following the video and understanding the content.
Action Plan- These answer the question now, what? and provides a direction to follow. Plus, the goals are attainable.
Energy- Mario delivers the video in an enthusiastic manner and motivates you to take action.

Dislikes

Can Be Overwhelming- There is a huge amount of content on the videos. But, is it too much content? Don't try to complete this course in one sitting.
Hard to Locate Specific Information- Each video lasts 20-30 minutes. There is no time indication as to when he covers each topic area. That means watching the entire video or hunting through the video to find a specific topic that Mario covers.
No Written Training Manual- The Video Slides come in the PDF Format. You will need to print these out if you want to use them for note taking. The video automatically stops if you attempt to switch from the Video to the PDF Section of the Module.
Bring Back the Writing Tool- In his 7 Day Facebook Commission Formula Course, Mario inserted a tool to the right of the video that enables students to write notes without having to switch screens. This made note taking very convenient. Bring this tool over to Consulting Mastery!

Conclusion

What is my overall opinion of Consulting Mastery?

Despite the tremendous amount of video content and limited amount of written training material, this product is a good investment.

The content is useful and the videos are well made. The previews do a great job of orienting you towards the videos and action plans actually give you the steps to take at the end of each module.

Consulting Mastery will help new and established consultants run successful businesses with grateful clients.

For people with little or no background, the course is designed in a step-by-step manner.

Established consultants can use this course as a reference tool for answering questions and resolving problems that you have at the moment.

Here is the best approach to completing this course without feeling overwhelmed: 1) Watch the Entire Module Video; 2) Complete the Module Action Plan Steps; and 3) Proceed to the next module.

If you decide to take this course and follow Mario's directions, you will be a successful consultant.

You're learning from somebody who follows these steps and charges his clients $2,500 per month for his services. They cheerfully pay his fee.
