I would not say $5 an article is expensive. That is $25 for 1,800 words (buy 5 get one free.) I charge $20 for 1,000 words and I don't promise to get it published the next day.

I charge the same amount whether I rewrite or start from scratch.
For 500 word articles it will be $8 per article.
