I was talking with my father this past weekend (wow....that feels a little
weird to write...I just had my 51st birthday!), and he reminded me that
I majored in journalism my first few years in college (switched to finance
because I realized I could make more money there....I never heard of
copywriting....worked my way through school and knew I wanted a life
different from that in which I was raised).

I guess what I'm saying is.... this is fun!! (Work, yes, challenging...definitely
....but fun, too. Does that make sense?)



I know it's got to be less per hour of time than you've made in years. I

Hi Kevin

Thank you for your feedback. I can see why this is called “The Million Dollar Step”.

I have learned an invaluable lesson here. I see what you mean by this story not
fitting the product. I had the same sense when I wrote it, but that is all I could
think of at the time.

Even though my story did not fit this product it chipped a hole in the shell so when
I come to promote a product that I can relate to with my back ground I can use this
as a template to get started instead of feeling stuck. This also gave me the
understanding of how important this step is. You can hear John talk about it on
the video, but there is nothing as powerful as having to do it.
