Content isn't that bad, but it's duplicate content from other article directories, I'd advise ya to re-write it, over all, I think $27 is worth it.

The source of the articles came off a website that is no longer online. People would submit articles to the site for points in which they could in return use to buy things or get services. The owner of the site had full rights to the articles and sold a select few packages. The site is no longer online and the only articles that are out there are the ones that have been sold in the PLR package. It would be wise to rewrite the article if possible since people have bought this package now and could have posted it. I will post some articles in a second.

Make sure your using the winrar program to unzip it. You can get it at rarlab.com. That should solve your problem. If not please let me know and we will figure something out.

well i unfortunately first tried to open it with adobe reader and it now can do nothing with it I have winzip on the computer but it still tries to open it in adobe. Can it be re down loaded again and opened with winzip

You can download the file again with the link you got. If not I can send you a new one. You need winrar to unzip it. I am not sure if winzip with work or not. Most people who had trouble with it had their problem fixed by using winrar.

They are all text files so you just need to unzip them to a file. Let me know if you have any other problems.

Yea you need winrar to unzip the file. That is the program that I use. That would solve your problem. You can get it at rarlab.com. I also have windows defender with Vista and havent have any problems. Could you give more detail on it or what its doing?

I am not sure what the problem is? I have had several sales and no one has had a problem with windows defender or any other program. The main problem that solved 99 percent of everything was everyone wasnt using winrar. Also please PM me instead of posting here since it looks like your spamming the thread.

I have a fresh Vista and no problems until winrar

I stopped winrar when defender popped up.

When I stopped it I got an evil message. A small window poped up and said ----"you dead next month'---- I closed it but it kept popping up. I did a restore to an earliy time. Now the evil popup is no more. and every thing seems fine again on Vista

I can not extract the whole file but I can see the whole file with winzip so it is not a problem and it saves disc space anyway.

I sent an email to Cnet to tell them about the winrar download problem I had. I have winrar on my XP and it was slowing down a lot. Maybe winrar has a virus. I am not going to chance it on my new Vista.

I agree with you in that you need to rewrite these articles hence they are PLR articles and have been used. The source of the articles was from a website as I stated before. Now the site that they originally came off of is no longer and is not indexed in google. For the duplicate content that could have been from someone submitting more than one article of their own or from previous buyers of the package. Or someone could have just stripped the article from the original site.

These articles are meant for people to rewrite and to help with writing of new articles. You can post them as is on your blogs but I would only use them for starting up a blog until its established some then switch to unique content. These articles saves me tons of time by rewriting them and not having to look up info for each article I write.

Ok 6 out of 110,000 articles is not bad lol. It should not stop you from unzipping all of the files. I have done it over and over again and the same issue pops up with the file name. Out of the 110,000 articles only 6 have this problem. I would hope that would not cause you to be upset since you didnt get 6 articles. Its actually only three articles and the others are index numbers that I missed when going through them all.

You stated that it cuts out when it gets this message but it shouldnt and should still extract all the files except the 6 listed. I can send the two missing articles via email if you would like. I just downloaded and unzipped it again and it states the same message you have so you should have over 110,000 articles. If winrar stopped then something else is wrong so please let me know. I have only had a few problems and it was mostly to do with the fact people were not using winrar.

Anyway the problem should be fixed by using winrar. I will try and delete these so that people dont have the problem anymore. Let me know if you couldnt get access to the files or if just these 6 are the ones messed up.

Quick Tip: I created a folder with a short name in my hard drive's root directory, so it looks like this: C:\100kArts and then used Winrar to extract all the files into that folder. I had absolutely zero file name length errors, or any orther errors...worked perfectly!

if you can't unzip the package, may be you can try 7zip which is a free zip program.

As long as you use winrar and put it to a new directory everything should work fine. I used winrar to zip up the files and that is the program you should use to unzip them.

Hi Jason

I just bought one of your packages. The download went ok however 3 of
the folders won't unzip. It seems my software has detected errors in a
couple of files in the directory before these files and it's causing it to stop
uinzipping at that point.

I'm using a program called WinAce Archiver. It's a paid program I've been
using for years.

It's the Travel Package and the 3 folders are Outdoors, Travel_Tips and
Vacations.

What can you do to help?

I've just run a test on the archive and the results show that no errors
were found. It seems they were zipped ok.

Hey sorry your having problems. I should have never zipped them using Winrar. You need to get winrar to unzip them for some reason all the other programs just wont do it You can get it for free at rarlab.com. If it was winzip it would have worked with other programs but the winrar zip for some reason will not work with the other programs.

I don't think that's the challenge as it's unzipped quite a chunk of the
archive.

I think this file is the culprit...

At 154 characters, it's way too long for a file name.
This is the file it's sticking on and it lists it as the challenge.

fairly sure where the challenge is. If no one else has had this problem
with unzipping the Travel Package then I guess I have no choice.

Ok I was able to download the file at work and I now have fixed the problem I think. Please let me know if you have any more issues with the file names. If you do let me know which one it is so I can have it fixed. I am in the process of uploading the file right now so give it about 15 min and you should be able to redownload the file.

Also I changed it to winzip which should work better for everyone since most people have that program.

Hi Jason

If it's any help, it looks like whatever software/script has been used to
repackage the articles into the text files has taken the title from the
inside of the article and used it as the file name. Length has not been
taken into account. It also looks like any ? or : have been substituted
with an underscore. Sometimes there are two or three underscores
together. If you can identify these and cut the file name accordingly, it
may save you some work.
